3rd cycle design, your opinions?

bullkupp

V.I.P.
EVO Logger
Now, ladies and gentlemen, is the time for another cycle.

I will do blood work again to check if my markers have improved. If yes, let’s begin.

My goals with this new cycle
  • My goal is to gain 20 pounds of lean muscle mass.
  • I want to limit toxicity and cardiovascular impact (I think long term).
  • I want to take steps to prevent hair loss during this cycle.
  • I aim to bulk up cleanly by limiting bloating and fluid retention through diet and smart compound selection.
  • I want to feel great, energetic and healthy throughout this cycle.
  • I want to minimize the need for an aromatase inhibitor to avoid impacting my blood pressure, and reduce strain on my body. To help with this, I will keep testosterone doses conservative and choose compounds that work well together with few side effects (ie. pimples on my hamstrings and ass).
Supplements I have been considering
Testosterone enanthate - I used cypionate last time and I've heard that the enanthate ester causes less bloating, may be broscience
Primobolan - Helps build high-quality lean muscle without excessive water retention and side effects. Expensive but can get me there for sure.
Equipoise - Great alternative to primo, boosts endurance and stimulates appetite, and possesses anti-estrogenic properties, it may increase RBC to dangerous levels, I may have to donate blood regularly to address this, and the long half-life makes the PCT a tad more complex. I will do TRT so this won't be an issue. Some say that front loading EQ may help in feeling its effects 2-3 weeks sooner.
Deca Durabolin - Good joint lubrication, powerful mass builder, I have some experience with this compound and didn’t experience any side effects, the gains may be less dry compared to EQ, but again I think it depends on how I eat.
Turinabol - The poor man's Anavar alternative, dirtier gains, but great anabolism, and used by East Germany as the foundation of their sports machine. This compound would be used as a kickstart.

Previous cycle
Test cypionate 500mg EW - week 1-12
Dianabol 30mg ED- week 1-4
Anavar 50mg ED - week 9-13
Cardarine 10mg ED - week 1-12
Cialis 10mg ED - week 1-12

Next possible cycles
Test enanthate 300mg EW / Primo 500-600mg EW / Deca 100-200mg (joint support) EW / Turinabol 50mg ED for 5 weeks (12 weeks)
Test enanthate 500mg EW / EQ 400mg EW / Deca 100-200mg (joint support) EW / Turinabol 50mg ED for 5 weeks (16 weeks)
Test enanthate 500mg EW/ Deca 300-400mg EW / Turinabol 50mg ED for 5 weeks (12 weeks)

Ancillaries I will add to my stack
Cialis - A medication used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. It works by relaxing blood vessels to allow increased blood flow.
Telmisartan - An angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) used to treat high blood pressure. It works by relaxing blood vessels to improve blood flow.
Cardarine - A PPARδ receptor agonist that may enhance HDL and LDL cholesterol profiles, reduce inflammation, and improve endurance and cardiovascular performance.
Ostarine - A SARM that may help boost muscle recovery and reduce inflammation.
NAC - A supplement used to support liver health and function. As a potent antioxidant, it helps protect the liver from damage.
Milk thistle - A herbal supplement also used to support liver health. Contains silymarin which helps protect and regenerate liver cells.
Vitamin B6 - A vitamin that plays important roles in liver function and energy metabolism.
Fish oil (omega 3) - Supplements containing essential fatty acids that support cardiovascular health by improving lipid profiles and lowering inflammation.

What do you think guys?

well you have nailed down the compounds pretty well above

my advice is try something different then you did before. and roll with it if you do well on it. and when things stall then switch it up from there.

I would try out the Test, Deca, and Tbol. I also wouldn't expect to gain another 20 lbs of lean mass if you just put on 50lbs. Law of diminishing returns at play. Unless you plain on using HGH.

Forget the 20lb target. Certainly ion 1 hit. Aim for a solid 5lbs at a time
Agreed. His body needs time to adjust to the massive weight gain he just went through on his last cycle. He is only going to get side effects chasing weight gain numbers. The injuries as well that happen when people only care about absolute numbers.

Yep. I've done 20lbs in a cycle. I wasn't, at that time, trying to hold that. Even at 5-8lbs at a time it still took me 3 months to get used to it.

RoidRage is correct in inferring there are risks. How many times did we see pec and quad tears back in the day (rare now). It was because muscle was added crazy quick and the support systems, inc tendons and connective tissues, are much slower in terms of strengthening.

I've also written of, regardless of how big I've been at my all time heaviest (last years 336lbs) ALL my gains averaged out to normal levels per year (3-6lbs max) just over a LONG time.

This is why we need to see these logs so much and see the amount of weight they are pushing so we can let them know they might be getting close to damage. I see a few on here that are expecting way too much and they will most likely have damage to their bodies. Form is critical which is why I try to tell some of them to do ultra slow 8 count reps. This way you get the mind body muscle feel without any momentum. Its a good way to build muscle without blowing out a quad, shoulder, pec, or bicep. People just need to slow down and know this is a marathon not a sprint. You dont see me adding so much weight I have to swing it back and forth like a person doing that kipping shit on crossfit. I see a lot of people on here posting vids with momentum and its just a disaster waiting to happen. Why do people feel the need to add 50 lbs of muscle in less than a year? Do they not understand the damage that is being done?

As you'll have seen from mine I'm not going flat out all year round but ease off before pushing towards PB's for the same reasons.

the most glaring issue i see is the goal of gaining 20lbs.. if thats a long term goal, that makes sense but if that is your goal from one cycle, you absolutely need to revisit this thinking as it is just not reasonable nor rational...

I like the detailed post and compound justifications. I do the same. Looking at your previous post, about 35 or 36 age.

20 lbs might be if everything goes right at your age. You might really work on ROM and weaker body parts to grow them. There may be some gains there. I feel like these last 5 years, I gain 4-6 lbs per year. I am on the older side 55. The compounds help but I think the exercises will help more.
ATG Squats, different machines, rep ranges, etc. You do need to lift heavy, but with control.

Eager to follow along. Keep up the good work!

I'll make 20 lbs my target. In my last cycle, I aimed for 20 or 30 lbs and went to 50 lbs (with water). I think if I work just as hard and give my best, I think I can make it. I don't want to abuse any substance, and I think work ethic and dedication is the name of the game. We'll see :)

I think you made a fair point regarding injuries. I forgot about that part.

What’s your calories going to look like? How much compared to the previous cycle?

This is what I am most concerned about with you. The radical change you made was so fast your tendons are not ready for more stress IMO. Takes many months if not years to get stronger not weeks.

Thank you bro 🙏 my main issue is my lower back. I have to be extra careful with that part. I go slowly and as soon as feel something is off, I stop.

Last cycle I was at 4,100 calories, and right now I am at 3,500. I will return to 4,000 and I will adjust accordingly. What I will do differently is cut on the proteins (last time 340g) and add more carbs.

You are right. My lack of patience is showing through again. I have this pain in my right triceps at the tendon. I thought I could use deca as a joint and tendon support agent but it doesn't make the tendons grow, it's almost only a plaster.

Which is the kind of info experienced lifters know. Indeed the science shows SOME collagen uptake in the lab but in the real world nothing meaningful. Ditto adding 20lbs again and again. Not gonna happen

@bullkupp loved your other log, been a fan since day one.

20lbs of lean mass a bit hard, but 10lbs looking at your frame possible 7-10lbs range.

I would add n2guard for organ liver support but your mix is fine too. THough I want to see n2bm love.

The 3 cycles you showed.
For mass Lets talk test/deca/tbol
500mgs testosterone enanthate/week
300mgs deca durabolin/week
(both 2x/week split dose)
50mgs tbol/ed split dose 1-6

if you want energy you have to switch to equipoise though so deca > eq same dose

when will you start your log?
