Any UFC/MMA fans here

JustDaTip

Proficient Brother
Just wondering if we have any fellow MMA fanatics here? If so, what did you think of UFC 181 this Saturday?

I will say this. Hendricks looked so gased in the 5th round. Which is why I think he loss. There will be a 3rd fight.

I absolutely agree. I'm starting to think that Dolce diet might not be all they say it is. Hendricks looked like death lol. There has to be a third fight but I think Rory McDonald was guaranteed the next shot at the title

I'm a huge fan. I was glad to see Lawler get the win. It could have went either way. I agree Hendricks gassed and that's why he losses. I went to Vegas and watched UFC 167 when Hendricks fought GSP. LAWLER and Rory fought on the card as well. Looks like we get to see a rematch here soon.

Yeah I was happy to Robbie win too. He deserved it. I'm glad the judges didn't give Hendricks the decision because of his "lay and pray" wrestling smh.

It was a great fight card! Was shocked to see Melendez get caught in a gilotin, but that's what happens. The the main event could have gone either way , I am a huge Robbie Lawler fan considering I've been watching ufc from the beginning, but honestly he gased himself after the early first round onslaught and besides the first and end of the last round the rest of the fight was controlled by Hendricks. I was shocked when Lawler won and very happy for him!

I am. I have competed on an amateur level and done some grappling tourneys. I eat, sleep, and breath, mma and jiu jitsu. As far as the Mike Dolce the dudes legit but to buy his "product" is a huge waste of money. Two guys in our gym bought it, it was over 100 bucks for three little books with a few recipes, common knowledge diet info, and his story from power lifter to this.

I am a huge MMA fan. :)

Yeah man, a lot of people are "ufc" fans, they have no idea what mma is. Its all ufc. I've literally been asked "so you fought ufc?" Im like no...not even close, I fought mma, on a amateur level, against a nobody, and nice to meet you I'm a nobody to.... I follow every organization I can including a lot of local and po-dunk shows. I'm rambling.. Sorry I get worked up about this shit!

I took bjj for almost 6 years. Never competed but just training makes you respect the people that actually fight that much more

Bro, I hate when people say "do you train ufc". I'm the same way. I go to lots of local shows and watch any mma I can.

it can be fun to watch but i'm not an avid fan

I'd wanna smack someone if they asked "do you train ufc?".....lol

Before I competed in BB, I trained in muay thai in a real mma gym....not like the girly cardio kickboxing classes. It was one on one. I never had a real fight but did get in the ring a few times just for "fun". I went through a really rough couple years of life and that training saved me. Such a release. I was kinda too old to really make something of it but had I been a whole lot younger, I would have at least tried something more formal.

I realize this does not make me sound very girly.....sigh.....but I can throw a hell of a superman punch! ;)

im a ufc fan but i was always a bigger pride fighting fan than ufc... those were always the best fights that you could see when they were in their prime... i know boxing is nothing like it used to be but i was always a huge boxing fan, more so than ufc although i definitely love ufc as well...

That's awesome caligirl. Some of the best fights in the ufc come from the women. They always fight so angry lol

Yeah bro there was nothing like pride. I wish the ufc took some of their rules and implemented them. Like if a fighter didn't fight or took a fighter down and just laid on them, you'd get a warning and fined a percent of your purse got each infraction. That's motivation to fight lol
