approved supplements to import to australia

anyone willing to share knowledge or their experience with the topic would be apreciated.
basically im wondering is there a procedure to follow if i wanted to order a well known brand from another country but isnt available here in australia. how what would they do if there isnt any banned substances in it but hasnt been aproved by aus standards for example. if one was to become a rep for the brand wats the easiest way to get apoved through the legal channels. your imput wil be much apreciated

Short of paying a lawyer with specific expertise in that area (Rick Collins in the US - author of Legal Muscle springs to mind) maybe writing to the right authority might help. I've had the 'joy' of arguing with the tax man on VAT on protein powder. I found out they were wrong, at that time (it changed later), on the tax website.

yea it seems like a bit of a process and not one they want to make as easy as black and white, i have exchanged emailes with australiangov health authorities and i thoght surely theres someone who done this and can help make it easier apreciate it

@nevadasameagain I'm sure there is a way to do it , check with local fda there in australia shouldnt be an issue if you can import it
