Hello to everybody!

I'm 39 years old, 75kg, at 1.75m height, but with high body fat percentage (around 26%) and low muscularity. Especially I keep a lot of fat around my belly and chest. My goal is recomposition: I'll be satisfied if I could become 75kg but with 12% body fat percentage.

Unfortunately, despite the fact that I' m training systematically (weight lifting and aerobics) from 2015, I have nothing to show as a result (images from my current state attached). My lowest bodyweight was back to 2019 at 68 kg. But even at that bodyweight I was still keeping a lot of fat around my belly, while I was seeming generally anorexic. So even at that weight I wasn't look better.

I' m checking my testosterone all these years and it always comes back at the low end of normal range (at 300's). Two years ago, at 2022, I decided to tried a TRT protocol. I used Testosterone Enanthate. I began with a dose of 100mg injected once a week, but after staying a month and a half at that dose I felt no difference. So, I tried a dose of 250mg injected once a week again. My testosterone at blood tests rised up to 1300' s but I started to experienced erectile dysfuction problems, despite my estrogens being at range (at 40's in blood tests). So after about a 4 months total experimentation with TRT I came out due to facing erectile dysfuction problems, while not seeing any progress at my fat loss and muscle gain efforts.

After all these, I' m now at a point that I'm thinking of trying something beyond TRT: e.g. anabolic steroids compounds. Not looking for something "hard" or "aggressive". I don't want to become a bodybuilder or a fitness model! My goal is very specific: RECOMPOSITION. Just become a better version of myself.

Any suggestions?

If you don't know how to eat and train properly then you can take all of the drugs you want but the result will be the same.
Why don;t you start a training and diet log so we can help get things moving in the right direction?
 
okay so we know your issues isn't due to lack of Test. however if your levels are in the gutter i would recommend getting on TRT but do it properly. its not about having sky high test levels, its about BALANCE. too many people think that going on trt will magically cure everything and it doesn't. there are many factors in play

the truth is you look like an 'average joe' just like 80% of people out there. nothing wrong with how you look relative to the general population, and in fact compared to your average american you where every middled aged male carries a gut, you look perfectly fine. now we just have to work on getting you in top shape so you can improve from here. but you are overall being way too hard and critical on yourself

bottom line truth is you need to put up a log. post your training, diet, sleep etc. also there could be underlying mental issues going on .. genetics is a factor obviously.
look at the other logs and see how guys are training and eating who have made nice transformations and study that
 
TRT was back in 2022. I stayed on it for about 4 months. I came off "cold turkey". Now my TRT levels are the same as it was always before TRT (at 300's, more specifically at 357 ng/dL at last lab report). My erectile dysfuction problems have resolved. For some unexplained reason TRT caused me erectile dysfuction!

My current training program: 5 training sessions per week. 1 muscle group per session (chest - back - shoulders - triceps/biceps - legs). 6 exercises per muscle group. 3 sets at each exercise. 10 - 12 reps per set. 30 min running at treadmill every morning.

Diet: 4 meals per day
First meal: 4 boiled eggs (eating one whole and from the other 3 eating onle egg white) + one tablespoon of tahini
Second meal: 150 gr of lean protein (e.g. poultry, turkey, fish, lean red meat) + 150 gr of carbs (e.g. potatoes, rice, brown pasta) + salad with one tablespoon of virgin olive oil
Third meal: 250 gr of yogurt with 2% fats + one tablespoon of walnuts
Fourth meal: As of second meal, but reducing carbs at 100 gr.

Supplementation: multivitamin, D3 2000 IU, Vitamin C 500 mg, Vitamin E 400 IU, Omega 3 2gr, Zinc 50 mg, Mag 400 mg, formula for ligaments (Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM), Whey protein 60 gr (2 X 30gr), BCAA 5gr, Glutamine 10 gr.
 
I think I' m trying as much as I can, but my body says NO!

After all these years and being almost 40 I have stopped to hope at a "natty" transformation.

I'm really thinking of run my first cycle, due to dissapointing results all these years. What compounds would you suggest according to my age, state and aim?

Are you progressively overloading in the gym ? How is the intensity you train with? Lifting the same weights week to week will never get you the results you are looking for. Are you counting your calories correlated to your expenditure ?

All you need imo would be a proper run with some test and an Ai however like I mentioned above you would need to start lifting with purpose and avoid junk volume.

Sorry to double post but also looking back to your post I would adjust your training that you hit each muscle group at least twice a week for optimal growth. You couldn’t technically get away with training once but you’d really have to know what you’re doing.

To be real and honest with you, there is a deep issue here clearly. But that issue is not clear to use until we sit down and get more info about you.
we need you to share with us by starting a NEW thread with a LOG journal, share training diet history sleep and cardio and more, and we can guide you as the EVO family for results.

To really guide you we need more info, we need you to share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
We have 100s of years of experience between us, you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

Train hard and eat clean. Then you can think about cycles. 200mg test per week with 1.5IU HGH per day will be all you need. You might as well get on Cialis as well.
 
The members are correct. We need more info.

One common issue in SOME posts is as much the 'what's missing'. And it can be very hard for us to be analytical about ourselves. Examples would be younger underweight members simply not realizing that they aren't eating enough. So they ask about PEDs and post, as one did yesterday, that they weigh 148lbs
 
your log needs to be all your information
including your history and your experience
 
get your log up
that's going to be the best thing you can do
 
you need to work on your muscle conditioning
gotta put in the hours in the gym
 
you can use steroids to your advantage
but if you use them wrong you'll be very disappointed
