Beginner Cycle Advice

Relative beginner here looking for some advice from the forums on next steps:

I ran my first cycle of Test E and Deca over about 14 weeks (titrating dosage in the first and last weeks) from late November of last year (2023) until February of this year (2024) wrapping up with PCT following the PCT guidance here on Evolutionary. I was training through a professional gym with an elite coach, tracking food, weight and body fat carefully and consistently and managed to gain 10kgs of lean muscle mass in that cycle. I started with about 10% body fat, 74kgs was 39 and am 5’11”. I lost about half of my gains consciously for various reasons post-cycle but am happy with the size I’m now easily maintaining as a baseline despite the loss - about 80kgs and likely around 12% body fat. I eat very cleanly and don’t need any help with diet as I’ve been tracking food for years now so can adjust myself for gains when ready but am keen for some advice on next steps. I’ll create a log to track my next cycle here based on everyone’s advice.

I have the gear for a Test E/Tren A cycle; another Test E/Decca cycle; and an Anavar only cycle and am thinking I’d like to run a short, 8 week Anavar cycle now, so I’ve enough time to run PCT and have a break before running another full Test E/Decca or possible Test E/Tren cycle at the end of this year. I’m keen for some advice on: whether an Anavar only cycle now is worth it or whether I’m better off waiting until the end of the year; and whether at the end of the year it’s worth taking a crack at a Test E/Tren A cycle or running another cycle of Test E/Decca.

personally wouldn’t bother with an Anavar only cycle. You’re better off stacking it alongside other injectable compounds.

It’s only your second cycle, you don’t need to re-invent the wheel.

I’d just stick to some test, the var and maybe some deca if you tolerated it well last time.

Better off waiting until the end of the year to cycle properly then? I want to be stacked for my 40th in December so am holding out until then for a second complete cycle unless some other interim option is worth it.

To start off, I've never met anyone in my life that didnt need 'any help' with their diet. And you're relatively new so diet and training are majority of the gains, not the steroids.

ON the cycle part, anavar only cycles are a waste especially after your 1st cycle, you saturated your receptors. The same goes for trenbolone so many unnecessary sides for you at your stage of development. There are way better options but we need to understand you better first.

I'm sorry, but suggesting a cycle for you just knowing that you're 80kgs bro is just plain nonsense bro. If you want us to give you actual advice, like real cycle planning (and we have many plans we can put your way), we need you to share a log journal NOW in a NEW thread of your current diet training cardio and lifestyle and more history, so we can guide you into a cycle.

To really guide you we need more info, we need you to share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.

If you want us to really guide you, and we have 100s of years of experience between us, you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

Thanks, man. I appreciate that. I’ll start a log with the stats you suggest to help inform advice on what next. I don’t drink or smoke, I track my biometrics like clockwork and I’ve been training solidly at a specialist gym with a dedicated trainer for many years now so really don’t want any advice on diet, exercise or herbal supplements. I manage all that myself successfully these days and I know what works for me, I don’t need help there. I’ve also had medical check-ups and bloods run every 3 months for the past 17 years and live with a family of doctors so I’m fine to manage that side of things.

Appreciating things change while cycling - I’ve learnt enough through my first cycle to understand how to adjust what I’ve been doing with diet and exercise to safely maximise results. I eat more cleanly than some of the logs I’ve seen also. Where my knowledge is lacking is really around steroids/SARMS and what a relatively low-risk routine could look like for me over the next few years. I’m especially keen to understand whether there’s any utility in entertaining a short cycle of something now before I cycle again in December or whether I’m better off just waiting.

I intend to start a log when I’m going to cycle but I don’t want to invest in a log here for 5 months before the next cycle - or subject you to that.

@FBB2B lets start the log first and talk in details there. If you cant keep your diet and training posted and updated for some time, I really dont have much to tell you. And you're not investing into 'here' , you're investing time into your long term gains and long term success.

I dont think you should be using steroids if you cant keep an ongoing log and track your progress.
 
if you do anavar only do 8 weeks 50mgs a day.

a good plan though is stacking it with tren later on
