Best creatine type

Which would you say is the best type of creatine on the market ? What are the differences ?

When we talk about differences it usually comes down to things like absorption rate, water solubility, bioavailability and effectiveness to name a few.

There are all kinds claims floating around why some form of creatine might be better than another one but I wanna emphasize that most of them are just claims and not backed up by research.

So when we look at the big picture I'd say that the basic goold old creatine monohydrate is still best bang for your buck and I wouldn't waste my money on these other new products unless you happen to get some kind of bad reactions from the basic monohydrate form.

Even the Creapure product, which used to be claimed as the purest product, gives you no greater gains than generic monohydrate (and that's all Creapure is). Even the lower grade product has become better tested. Other than that buy the finer grained product (200-mesh) vs the more grainy product (120-mesh).

Any creatine product without anything else added to it will be good. I personally like the N2BM product called Ancient Strength. Simply because it is dosed properly, pure creatine, and in tablet form. Tablets are just more convenient.
