which is better for glycogen replenishment post-workout?

waxy maize is supposedly much better but does it live up to the hype?
 
I've never given this deep thought, and just try to eat well balanced meals including post workout.

not something you should worry about.. these post workout sugars were designed for pro's who slam insulin post workout, not for an avg joe who already eats TOO MUCH SUGAR already. trust me you will eat more sugar each day then people in most of the world eat in a month in most cases

You have never heard of endurance athletes using these fast acting carbohydrate products?

And as far as the question itself goes, what are you comparing this waxy maize to?
There are quite a variety of different carb powders these days and if money isn't an issue I would almost certainly lean towards vitargo which is one the best ones on the market.
 
To answer the question, maltodextrin, vitargo, and karbolyn are all decent post workout supplement carb sources
