Best Practices For Recomp Cycle?? Diet, excersize etc

Hey yall! On my fifth cycle centered around recomposition and wanted to guage the community on best practices to "get the best of both worlds" IE not missing out on strength and size gains while still cutting.

1. What is a recommendable daily caloric intake as well as protein intake?

2. Is it better to hard cut and cardio 2-3 days a week and lift the other 3-4 or perhaps work out fasted and then try to get macros in the second half of the day?

What is your baseline calorie and macros. Because everyone is different it needs be personal. So able to adjust from there. Training 4 times is good but I would be adding more cardio

i recommend cycling calories and food intake

counting calories is for obese middle aged women, or dudes who compete who bulk offseason and cut inseason working with coaches

as an average joe eat the way humans have always eaten. time restricted, cycling foods and calories. natural diet.

1) At least 300 grams of protein in your situation.

2) Cut and faster you can do it, but better go with intermittent fasting easier to handle.

Your cycle is set in stone or you can change it? you should lower testosterone enanthate to 200mgs/week and add organ liver support n2guard 7caps ed.

You also need our guidance on this cycle so you need to post a LOG journal for us to track with you.

If you want us to really guide you, and we have 100s of years of experience between us, you need to post a LOG Journal with your diet, training details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

get a log going for us so we can judge what you need but with this layout 200mgs test is plenty and get n2guard organ support

there is no set stone # but you need 2grams per lb of bodyweight to grow with protein and you HAVE to show us a LOG
 
keep testosterone lower doses +LOG ASAP
 
even when you cut protein has to be high
for fasting do 1 24 hour fast per week
and really push in lower carbs and high protein with omega 3 fats
and LOG LOG LOG LOG LOG please
 
there is no sent answer on a recomposition diet.. its extremely subjective to the person based on :

specific person's body response to different types of foods

compounds used

that persons maintenance caloires

etc...

it goes on and on.. its all trial and error.. with protein intake, 1.25-1.5 grams per pound you weigh is plenty

i generally have my clients start at 200-250 calories below maintenance and assess from there but as i said, its all subjective and it takes time to get it dialed in for each person...

the way you train plays a big role as well... you want to be in the hypertrophy stage of training, so 8-12 reps at 80-85% of your 1 rep max... you also will want to be doing adequate amounts of cardio.. i would go at least 4 days a week at 30-45 minutes of both steady state and hiit training... You may want to go 5 days a week on that...

This is difficult as Dylan said because it is different from person to person and so you are going to have to test out different ratios, calories as well as training methods

This is my take on recomp. You are prob gonna fail the first 1 or 2 times you try. For me, my first three attempts turned into bulks. You really need to play with training/diet to see what works for you. For me it was higher protein and carb cycling that worked. I think consistency is the key to recomp. The more consistant you are in diet/training, the easier it is to spot unwanted changes and fix them. Read the post Dylan created. Cycle looks good to me although I respond better to a little higher primo.
My recommendations:
Eat around maintenance
1.25-1.5g proteins per lbs.
,25-.35g fat per lbs. You'll need to play with this. I do better on the lower end. These will be good fats. fish/avocado/maca oil....etc
Fill in the rest of the cals with your carbs to get you near maintinance. Eat these carbs mostly around your training.
Train hard in the lower rep ranges. 8-10
Don't go crazy with cardio. I will typically do 15-20min in the morning and the same after training. This can be adjusted to fine tune.
Be consistent!!!!
Start a log when you are ready. It helps to have eyes on you.
