@bigblue1377 you can do a lot more workThank you all! Definitely agree I could use some more work on the delts and honestly on my body overall. I think my frame could use another 15 pounds of lean muscle to really fill out. Going into my final week and will post an updated picture and my overall experience.
@bigblue1377 thats sad to see, you completely dropped off updates and left us. I was subbed to this btw.Hey guys, this is long overdue but I had several things come up in life and I've finally got some time to post an update. I finished my cycle back in November.
Results:
Finished at 263 pounds
13 pounds gained (11 of which was lean muscle)
Increase in about 10% of all compound lifts and about 15ish% in all isolation exercises.
A few months since my cycle and continuing on with a similar but slightly less caloric diet and HGH (2ius per day), I have landed back at 250 pounds but at a lower body fat, increased strength, and I definitely feel "bigger." Blood work 5 months post cycle included.
There are a few things I've learned and would do differently in the future. Mostly, I should have kept the dose of T to 300 a week, maybe 400. I wasn't "feeling" it after a month so I kicked it up to 500 and I think it was too much. I had some acne pop up which I thought would go away shortly after stopping. After following PCT and being off for almost 6 months, I am still struggling with really bad acne. Still have a few other issues such as high estrogen and low T levels.
Also, my IGF levels are completely normal. The T and anavar were probably kicking up my IGF in addition to the HGH, so when I finished my cycle, I maybe should have kicked the HGH dose up to 3 or 4 ius per day. My goal with HGH is to run it for about a year or two straight, hopefully repairing some old nagging injuries, pains, and to create some new muscle cells.
All of the abnormal levels related to the liver I've actually had for a long time before my cycle but will hop on milk thistle for a few months to see if it helps. Also got some more fish oil to help with the cholesterol.
Few questions:
1) When are T levels supposed to come completely back to normal? Mine were around 600 before the cycle. If they haven't come back now will they ever return to normal?
2) Should I do anything about the estrogen or wait for it to come back to normal on its own? I'm not feeling anything significant from it at the moment.
3) Doctor is proposing I hop on Spironolactone to deal with the acne. From my understanding, it does so by lowering androgen levels which I definitely do not want to drop my T levels any lower. Am I understanding that correctly?
4) Kicking up HGH to 3 ius a day to get into the upper mid range of IGF 1 levels. My current glucose levels are slightly above the normal range so I'm assuming kicking it up 30% will cause an even further increase. I am thinking about using insulin in the mornings with my dose to offset this and also help with absorbing the rest of my food throughout the day. Thoughts?
Hopefully someone else can also learn from my experience. Please provide any suggestions and feedback you may have, even if I didn't ask. This was my first cycle and I have definitely learned a lot but I'm sure I could use more input from everyone else. Thanks for everyone's support throughout this process!
