has anyone tried the PP hormone test kits?

saliva or blood?

can't afford the full blood test is the basic enough?

basic blood tests:
Total Testosterone
Estradiol (E2)

or saliva tests: choose 4 from list (which ones are necessary?)
Estrone (E1)
Estradiol (E2)
Estriol (E3)
Free Testosterone
Progesterone
DHEA Sulfate
Cortisol
Diurnal Cortisol (4 tests)

I suppose it depends on what you want to find out with your test. Do you just want to see if you test is back to normal post cycle or do you want to make sure everything is back to where it's supposed to be?

What are you looking for in terms of tests/results? If you have health cover, then they should be able to sort it out for you for next to nothing.

I always get full bloodwork done. Test/Lipids/Thyroid etc etc etc

guess that was a bit vague...

@OZ - I get an annual blood work during my normal check-up Lipid/CBC/Metabolic/and a urinalalysis so I'm covered in those area.

@rahl - I guess that's what I'm asking...

I want to take a test before my cycle then 1 more 30 days after PCT.
I would like to know my natural testosterone level before and after.

would the basic blood test be what i'm looking for?
Total Testosterone
Estradiol (E2)

What is the difference between (E1) (E2) and (E3)? which of these "E" would be applicable to test to see if the cycle has affected?

thanks guys!

If all you're concerned about are your T levels, then the two most important values are:

Total Testosterone
Free Testosterone

Regardless, I would be getting full blood work done before and post cycle.
