Approved Log Borristheblades Testosterone Equipoise NPP contest prep cycle log

Apologies for not checking in last week boys I came down with a cold and training and my physique took a dive but we are back on track and kicking goals again. Weight currently sitting at 100.1kgs with a current cycle of 400 test and 500eq. I dropped the npp as I was experiencing mental side effects

The old npp dark hole aye ? I always warn people about npp .especially once you jump off . Expect a week or 2 of being in very very dark place mentally
.
I haven’t checked your photos for a while , so I can see the drastic difference between now and a year ago bro .
You’ve put some serious size on . Like big time .
Be proud .
As for those bloody undies , alway the same ones .

Yes I’ve noticed that big time this will be the tail end of week two and mental state is finally starting to get back to normal. Was absolutely horrendous more so just sapped all my motivation and left me with a dark cloud in my head, heightened anxiety and almost felt depressed. Was most definitely not ready for it but the worst is over now. Very interesting to experience first hand though.

And thanks mate been slowly but surely making progress. Really starting to develop some real muscle maturity now and only hope I can continue to do so with my sights set on competing again.

How’s your fitness journey treating you?

Some leg day action for you lads starting to build strength back up on my most dominant body part tonight is chest and triceps I’ll be sure to post an update I know I need to be more active and involved in this community!
Currently my macros are at 300 protein 300 carbs 100 fats

I don’t know what it is , but for some reason everytuke I’ve stopped npp whenever I used it’s like withdrawals .
Must affect dopamine receptors id say

Looking weapon as brother!

And for sure I’ve heard of plenty of people that have had heightened anxiety and similar sides to nandrolone, lucky you could recognise it at drop it right away bro. what were you running it at out of curiosity

And hope you feeling back to normal now

you sure it wasn't trenbolone? or something else?
never heard of this with NPP @Dirt

@Borristheblade leg day is extreme, and macros amazing you'll be on stage in no time, any show plans?

No it’s npp .
Tren causes a different mental state. .
Npp is just a depressing dark mood
you must have a DHN receptor high affinity I'm going to guess here
@AE1079 can comment he likely thinks its DHN related as well

The thing is with any steroid that has progesterone related effects such as Deca, NPP or Tren, can heavily effect mood, especially dopamine and serotonin. It works on the brain, particularly the hypothalamus. In turn aggression is significantly increased through adrenergic and serotonergic signalling causing a heightened aggression. Aggression is associated with higher levels of dopamine, cause in some individuals a manic response, whilst others get a depressive response. This does depend on biochemistry and non genomic factors. Hence why we see an inconsistency of prediction of what to expect on these drugs.

Now coming off these drugs people either feel better or worse, it’s really hard to point fingers and which drug does what in polypharm. But it’s a good learning curve for next time.

NPP makes me happy and giddy
Tren makes me extremely aggressive
Test makes me assertive

Everyone will have their own input on what these do. However because of the nature of these three being so androgenic, we are going to certainly get disturbances at first with mood changes, which level out once the brain figures the numbers needed to maintain a homeostatic point. Which where results differs in individuals.

My suggestion: if it makes you feel shit, it’s not worth the squeeze, there are secondary effects to feeling depressed and manic. Which can cause changes in lifestyle, perception and behaviour.

And just remember, increased AR signalling in the brain = higher sympathetic drive = non genomic effects based on individual = mood disturbances (for better or worse).

Coming off will either improve your mental well being, then level out

OR

make you feel like the world is coming to a end temporarily, and then level out.

The body is super efficient so it will find a way to increase neuro activity back to homeostasis.

@AE1079 I agree with @LevButlerov there is a DHN axis rarely discussed but that can cause psychological issues in some guys

It can, it’s 5a reduced so its action is similar to DHT in terms of reduction, it’s relatively inactive and weaker then DHT, so most of it is bound but I can see the issues it could cause if your DHN is higher then DHT buts it’s rare as most people are running way more test and DHTs relative to Nandrolones, but a valid point nonetheless

Here’s my chest and tricep workout from Monday lads. I pulled a muscle in my back after work and have to take it somewhat easy this week. I’ve gone to the physio and gotten some work done to it so fingers crossed I’m back to tip top shape by the end of the week. Just trying not to train anything that’ll hurt my back further or if I do train I’m skipping anything that will put load on it.

Also want to thank AE for taking the time and giving such an in depth response to why NPP can cause different responses in different individuals. That was very enlightening so thankyou for that knowledge!
