Today was my first day back in the gym in quite a while. I just finish my physical therapy for my knee that I had surgery on a few months back. I’m gonna ease back into things and do my best to avoid anymore injuries. I had to switch to a vegan diet for health concerns after my multiple bowel surgeries.

PEDs:

200mg test cypionate (weekly)

Supplements:

Ghost multivitamins
Ghost bcaa
5 gram creatine
Vegan omega 3s


Exercise:

BACK & BICEP DAY

Deadlift 225/5/5

One arm row 50/12/12/12

Lat pulldown 100/12/12/12

Bb row 135/12/12/12

Seated row 100/5 min

Ez preacher curl 40/12/12/12

Concentration curl 20/12/12/12

Seated curl 20/5 min

Logged 17,000 steps today

Diet:

12:00 meal

2 vegan biscuits
1 cup vegan gravy
1 cup turmeric seasoned tofu
1 patty plant based sausage
2 cup spring mix
1 cup bean sprouts

4:00 meal

2 cup super greens
1 cup brown rice
1 cup lentils
12 oz falafel
4 tbsp hummus
1/4 cup broccoli
1/4 cup corn
1/2 cup cucumber
1/2 cup tomato
1/4 cup pickled onions
1/4 cup salt brined pickles
1/2 cup shredded cabbage
1/4 cup olives
1/2 cup plant based dressing

Post workout meal

1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 cup pomegranate
3 cup unsweet almond milk
30 gram Quinoa protein
52 gram pea protein
2 tbsp hemp seeds

Side note:

It felt really good to get back in the gym today. I totally lost myself in the workout. It was nice to clear my mind and do something I enjoy. For now I plan to just work out 3x a week until my doctor clears me to do lower body exercises then I’ll change to 4x a week. Other than that, it’s really good to be back.

I bet it feels like a mountain of weight has been lifted off your shoulders. It’s been a long road for you. Hoping you have a speedy recovery back and things go well for you.
Yes, it’s quite the relief to put it all behind me. I’ve really missed it and am looking forward to seeing where it takes me.

Yes, I’m just straight trt for the foreseeable future. I’ll hopefully be able to cycle after I work my way back up in my lifts. Since starting the vegan diet all my intestinal issues have gone away. I’m really hoping it stays that way. I’ll try and get some pics up after I get moved. I’ve been in a hotel with my son for the past few months.

especially how you navigate around injuries I've had a lot of injuries in my 20s
 
good to hear you have a good attitude and are positive
too many people get injured and give up

I spent most of the day today getting ready to move tomorrow. I’m pretty sure I got everything lined out. No workout today, but did log a substantial walk. Walking is the only cardio I’ll be doing till I get the green light from my doctor to do other things.
