Ok guys, I figure I should post something since I’ve been commenting. It only seems right that if I’m sharing information people want to know where it’s coming from.

I’ll try not to make this too long.

I have a very strenuous, dangerous, demanding career as a cable lineman running my own business and doing most of my own work. Over the first two decades I went from getting stronger and fitter every year to eventually working myself down to a skeleton. I was 150 pounds and 6’ tall. I was getting injured regularly.

So at about 36 years old I actually got tricked into being carnivore. Which was a huge help compared previously horrible diet. And that led me into the fitness world. Started lifting weights, and got stronger steadily for a couple years with no more injuries, but as I learned the very basics of barbell lifting, I was shocked to find that I’m pretty weak when it comes to lifting weights. My whole life people were shocked by how strong I am for my size.

So I learned about progressive overload, and because I was still working really hard, I’m probably not eating the best diet for getting super strong. I started hurting myself again. And then I found out about peptides, and then I talked to real people who were like yeah peptides are cool but they’re expensive and limited and what you really really want is testosterone. And I experimented with that, and nandrolone and a lot of peptides. Basically, as soon as I started taking androgens, I started feeling hypoglycemic, and I added things like rice and fruit to my diet

. Overall, everything I’ve been doing has been working really well, although I am currently having what I believe to be tendinitis flare in my left hand, which is something I’ll probably always have to deal with on and off.

I’m going to attach some recent pictures, workouts, and meals. I’ll do my best to keep up with it, and I am looking forward to advice from all of you. I had to figure all this stuff out on my own.

Some things I know I’m doing wrong right now are:
I haven’t gotten blood work in almost a year, my blood pressure isn’t always in check, I suspect that’s from coffee and Kratom mixed together, which is a vice. I haven’t been able to stop because I work myself way too hard sometimes.

Yes, I’m doing TRT, 30 mg TE daily. So 210mg/week. It’s Beligas, from domestic-supply, of course! That’s plenty for what I’m doing right now, as I haven’t made time for blood work, and although I do find time to lift I can’t be consistent enough to regularly lift more weight right now. My job does keep me very fit but it’s not the same as progressive overload.

Tricked into being carnivore

Well, some like, ten years ago now I herniated a disc in my neck. It really messed me up, I could not hardly do anything for like a year, I could never sleep from the nerve pain shooting down my arm, I couldn’t relax my traps, and my rhomboids were so sore it felt like I got hit with a bat. When I tried to do certain movements with my right arm, my whole right shoulder blade would pop out like teradactyl wing because the nerves were cut off so I couldn’t move right.

A good friend, actually my first gf ever from when we were kids😂, is a really smart chick. Her dad is a science professor from Taiwan. She told me I could see if something specific was inflaming me by eating red meat only and adding things back in one at a time. I was kind of a foodie, I loved going out and getting all types of Indian food, Lebanese, Jamaican, I grew up on Mexican food prepared from absolutely scratch by my Mexican grandmother, etc etc, so I thought eating only meat was obviously retarded and I would die of scurvy in like two weeks hahaha, but I’m fairly humble sometimes and recognize that she is much smarter and more informed than I am so I tried it.

Well. I guess I’m well suited to it because I felt better than I had maybe ever in my life within two days. Then I shit the bed, and then I basically didn’t fart again or have any stupid pain until I feel off once and ate a bunch of trash and regretted it so sorely that I didn’t eat one single non animal thing except kratom for four years!!!
I had to figure out how I wasn’t supposed to die of scurvy and stuff and that led me to the internet. I had been strictly off of all social media, no YouTube or any type of digital entertainment. I do somewhat regret that, but Pandora’s box is open and that’s the way it is now. I think I was like 6 months into being carnivore before I started following all the influencers, who I think are mostly dishonest narcissists. Al the best information was from The Fat of the Land (a 100 year old book you can get for free) and the things shared on the internet by Owsley Stanley before he died. You can find all that for free as well, without following any prima-donnas social media where they try to convince you they invented being carnivore. They didn’t. They read the same stuff I did, and then put their spin on it to make money.

As I mentioned earlier, as soon as I touched androgens I found I needed to eat carbohydrates , and I also tolerate them much better. I seem to have some sort of inflammation issue, so have degenerative disc disease, arthritis, lifelong IBS. Currently some kind of tendinitis flare up in my left arm. If If I eat strict carnivore I can be symptom free sometimes within a day. So that is an amazing tool for me that has really given me my life back, my career back, and I’m also active in a sport that would probably dox me if I said it. Not sure if I care yet, but as a person who’s been incarcerated and lost everything and got it all back twice…. I’m a little shy about that.

@toddthelineman you are looking great on this opening. Your job sounds really interesting. Maybe you can post a video or some pictures of the type of job you do.

@toddthelineman thats interesting, first time I heard of someone being tricked into carnivore lol :P It's a smart move to go mean and add things back to see, very straight up.

You are saying you can't use testosterone because you want to eat? we can mitigate this with retatrutide fairly easy. Have you considered it?

@toddthelineman Bros. I hear you across the board. I don't know if you know my story, but I am a plumber and years ago, I fell through the floor. Ended up on the bottom floor below. Got very injured and had to quit weight training for about 2 years, but now I came back strong.

No no, I am currently taking testosterone and will continue to. 210mg/week is my trt, I’ve gone higher but I don’t feel the need to. I don’t think I need any type of sema-tetra-tirza-or any other “tide”. I’ve had abs since I was a toddler. I can eat pizza and icecream and whole cheesecakes every single day, I will not get fat, but I will get very sick. Testosterone greatly helps my stomach for some reason. If I take more than like 350mg a week, I can eat absolutely anything with zero arthritis or whatever itis I would normally get.

Plumbing is so hardcore man. I grew up with ooooold steel pipes and we took them apart and cleaned them and reused them all. As a kid, that was a very vivid memory of all the thick, fishy build up. Gnarly. I just battled a bunch of clogged pipes under my concrete slab house. Yup. Concrete saw and sledge hammer right through the dining room. I let the pipes stay clogged long enough to make sure my adult kids were sorry and wouldn’t do it again. Do the dishes in the yard😂

Glad you got better. My recovery took sooooo long because it was a workers comp case and they were just… hoping I’d get hit by a bus or something?! They didn’t do shit. I suffered for years until I figured it out for myself. I hate the insurance companies. Never will I trust them ever, they are all horrible people, no one can change my mind

I'd like to see you meal prep :D but temp sushi will do.
I need to meal prep or I will fall into the absolute worst food habits. Whole bags of candy, gas station pizza, all that. Itll happen. I have a huge appetite and need to keep my weight up as my biggest priority, so I’ll post it and be accountable. I appreciate all of you. You can’t talk about this stuff to everyday people lol

You look really goodat 182, I think your perfect weight is 190 a big more mass :D but really tight arms, great chest and wide shoulders. @toddthelineman
Two years ago, when I was hitting my PRs and taking more gear, I peaked at 195 and I was maybe a bit watery but still lean. My arms have always been my best feature even when I was a skinny skater kid, I could arm wrestle someone and people would be like “did his arm just get bigger? Wtf was that?!” Hahaha. I have somewhat wide hips and being on T, plus doing squats and deadlifts, has thickened my body a lot and I look much better. I never really thought of myself as broad shouldered, I barely wear a large t shirt.
