Caffeine alternative

I feel like maybe I rely on my caffeine based products too much for energy. I'm worried that this may result in negative side effects down the road. As it stands I use a caffeine product 3 times daily Monday - Friday and either once daily or not at all on weekends (and let me tell you, I sleep twice as much on weekends).

Anything I can take that isn't really stimulant based that might help me get through the day? I already eat a ton of complex carbs throughout the day, and very little sugar with the exception of during workout and PWO.
 
Armodafinil and Modafinil both can help with alertness without being a stimulant, but they are prescribed normally for sleep disorders related to shift work
 
the problem is you got yourself addicted to stimulants. now you must wean yourself off.

stimulants are the devil. getting into that nonstop phase of needing a stimulant to function and a downer to sleep is junkie stage. that is what Hitler had to do during WW2 and in his case they would give him things like heroine lol.
 
Hmm...Post workout your body is depleted all its glucose (the body main energy source). If you dont replenish your glycogen you'll be dragging all day without feeding your cells with the energy it needs. If keeping your diet on point is difficult at least you can control your pre & post workout intake. Amylopectin. But not just any kind. Vitargo is perfect for this. It'll give your body the energy it needs to knock out an intense workout and refuel your body afterwards. Vitargo uses barley amylopectin. Theres also maize but the barley is far more soluble.

Do you own research on it. You'll see its well worth it.

Stims aren't the greatest. If used as prescribed strictly and used in a way which that person harnessess It can deff have benefits.

My psych put me on 8 tabs of dexamphetamine per day, and .75mg xanax before bed...

Litterally Stims to wake up and xanax to go to sleep...
Somthing I do want to slowly taper off soon.
I'm usually pretty good with the Meds, but somtimes you might take an extra couple dex here or there on some days, or not sleep one night and have to just take extra the next day to get to work and function.. So, not ideal.
