Can people stop acting like they know what peoples' test levels should be?

I keep seeing this nonsense all over the internet. Some guy posts his blood work and explains he was on _mg of Testosterone and all the keyboard doctors, scientists, & biologists come out saying "Bro your gear is severely under dosed your levels should be _ at that dose." or "Dude _mg puts me at _ so your levels should be about the same."

The mechanisms that go into this are far more complicated than any of us understand. It is not linear, nor is it predictable, or even consistent enough to be able to even crudely estimate or predict. The amount of variables is endless and constantly changing.

This is coming from someone who's probably had close to 100 rounds of blood work done on different esters, doses, brands, etc., and gotten wildly different results. The one thing I kept consistent was my testing protocol which was always week 6 or later, 8am, fasted, on the morning of my next pin, but before I actually pin.

I tested a batch of homebrew Test Enanthate 250...same batch, same vial. Tested week 8 running 500mg. Results were 3200ng/dL. I tested again at week 12 and results were 1900ng/dL.

Did the same with my prescription Test Cyp from a compounding pharmacy. Was cruising at 200mg/week. Had been cruising for a few months already and got bloods on day of next pin (before pinning). 200mg/week of prescription Test Cyp put my levels at 800ng/dL. I thought it was low at the time so I tested again a few weeks later and results were 1100ng/dL.

I've had 750mg of Test E come back at 4200ng/dL, I've had the same dose test at 2400ng/dL.

I've tested same brands, same batches, same vials, different brands, different batches, different vials, different esters, same esters, etc, etc, etc. I think I've done enough experimenting and threw in enough combos and variables to confidently say that there is no universal standard to this at all. Blood levels will vary person to person, day to day, weather dependent, planet alignment, if it's a leap year, who's president, and if Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow. There's no way to even ballpark it.

So please...stop acting like you have any idea what anyone's blood levels should be at at any given dose. It's quite obnoxious and it gives off that "newb who thinks he knows it all but just regurgitates what other people say" vibe.

nice post and should be a sticky actually. i've been preaching this for years and we discuss it a lot on the podcast.

it is actually simple biology

you can test water 100 times and get 100 different results too with PH, chemicals, minerals, vitamins, etc.

many of the people who argue this are just uneducated on how science works i guess. we got a lot of uneducated in the bodybuilding community and those are the people who get the most clicks unfortunately, that is what our podcast tries to change.

To me, as per my reply in a thread that probably inspired this one, I'm all about 'am I getting results?'. If my lifts are going up and I'm adding weight then the gear is working.
Yes. Lol. Mobster with the winning answer

I dont think test levels even mean jack shit. I have a few guys I work with that have 2000 test level using PHARMA grade 750mgs testosterone amps, no matter what they use they are in 2000-2500 range, other guys peak out over 3900 with the same injections.

bros i dont know it even matters, person to person too different

yea I agree too much guessing on test levels

Feel free to sticky this if you'd like.

And yes it's not about intelligence nowadays...it's about delusional confidence. There's a lot of idiots who think they're special so they create youtube channels and social media accounts to show everyone how special they are and be seen. Some idiot will read an article in Men's Health and create a youtube channel and regurgitate what he read in the article. Next thing you know he's a famous youtube idiot spreading idiot information to idiot people who eat it up like idiot pie.

We are all different, therefore results would be different from person to person, even if cycle was the same

Exactly so. It's nothing more than an assumption to suggest if you take X milligrams of Y at week 2 you should be showing Z. It's arguable at best. We, as users, are NOT medicating a condition. It's all for performance and few studies measure this. In many medical conditions the dose for some things varies according to how severe the condition is, bodyweight (and how much fat the person has), age and so on. And, as I mentioned earlier, the individual affinity. And that's at medical doses not what we use.
