Just wanted to introduce ourselves to all on the forum, so the best way to do that is to give you our mission statement. We will be working with Need To Build Muscle in creating a special members only forum to assist any and all combat sports athletes that wish our help. Details to come soon.
I. To evaluate the current physical status and skill level of each combat sports athlete.
II. To discuss the goals of each combat sports athlete.
III. To develop a plan to enable each combat sports athlete to achieve their goals.
IV. To guide each combat sports athlete in taking direct action to execute their plan properly.
V. To diligently assess the progress of each combat sports athlete regularly to insure their ultimate success.
We look forward to working with you and in helping you achieve your combat sports goals
Right now, we have 12 combat sports athletes, male and female, preparing for fights in the ring, on the mat, and in the cage. Our first fighter competing this year is a female preparing to enter the cage for the first time 07Mar10. She has an extensive competitive boxing background and is transitioning nicely to Mixed Martial Arts. Her website is www.ashleyweakley.com if you want to check her out.
Mission Statement
CAPP Training or Combative Athlete Preparation Program Training is a consortium of coaches and trainers with many years of sport combatives experience as competitors, coaches, or trainers between them. It is our mission to prepare each combat sports athlete for their day in the ring, on the mat, or in the cage. To do this we are constantly evolving and expanding our knowledge base and then putting to the test in practical application so that we can keep our fighters on the razors edge of combat sports training. We are dedicated to the principle highlighted in the saying that Bruce Lee made famous "Absorb what is useful, discard what is useless, and find your own truth". The methodology that we use is a very simple and time tested recipe for success. It is as follows: I.
