Back in it for training yesterday.
Also did some meal prep on Tuesday.
Push day Wed.
First semi decent day back.
Warm up shit as usual.
Working sets
Incline Smith bench
60kg x 15
80x15
100x 10
140x3 (presses felt fine for back)

Bench press
100kg x12
100x10
100x8

Machine presses
80kg x12
80x12
80x10

Tricep extensions
40kg x15
40x15
40x15

Unilateral extensions
12x15
12x15
12x15

Cut most of my delt work as pain is localised in trap and upper back/neck.
No issues this morning with pain.
Nice workout ! 140kg on incline smith! Impressive
And to follow up with 2 x plate bench for reps
 
Good evening.
OK update saw a physio formal diagnose is my back was fucked haha.
Hammy and lower back taking all the strain off my glutes.
Hips out of whack and upper back shoulder and traps fully engaged.
Been light training where I can which is why I haven't been super active.
Should be all sweet to start back at full strength.

Got a follow up next week.
Just a friendly reminder to visit your physio and get yourself sorted 👌

don't take back issues lightly. it will not get better as you age.
 
One of the biggest mistakes I see is that people are very strong up front.

But they are very weak with their backs.
 
What exactly did they say about your back?
There are definitely things you can do to improve it.
 
I think it's a good time to get an inversion table.

That will help with your back and spine.
 
You definitely need to start stretching and doing some decompression. You don't want to end up with herniated discs.
