do b12 vitamins make you hungry

I have lost weight due to a lack of appetite and every meal I have is getting smaller and smaller, it is probably stress or anxiety that's diminishing my appetite, I tried to take some protein to gain some weight but didn't work so I would like to know if taking b12 will trigger my appetite or it will make me skinnier, some people say b12 accelerates your metabolism and the processing of proteins, so I need some feedback on this topic ,thanks.

B12 did nothing for me. That was with injection form too. Unless your a vegan you don't need to supplement with b12.

I don't know from experience but there has been a lot of guys talk about nutrobol increasing their appetite like mad.

The only people who need to be using a vitamin B12 injections are vegans. Vitamin B12 is the only vitamin/mineral that is only in animal food sources. There are no vegan sources of vitamin B12 available. Vitamin b12 deficiency is very common in vegans as a result.

The best sources of vitamin B12 are whole eggs and red meat. It is also in poultry fish and dairy products, just in small quantities.

If you are a vegan, you are going to need to use a vitamin B12 supplement. If you aren't a vegan, include lean red meat (ideally grass fed) into your diet 2-3 times per week. I would also eat 2-3 whole eggs every day. Don't be scared about the cholesterol in eggs. Dietary cholesterol actually have very little to do with raising cholesterol levels in the body. Poor cholesterol levels are due to a diet high in sugar, refined carbohydrates and trans fats. Whole eggs are actually very healthy to eat!

Any bodybuilder who is regularly eating animal protein sources will be getting way more then enough vitamin B12 in their daily diet. Using extra vitamin B12 can actually lead to toxicity symptoms.

The only supplement that will really increase appetite is nutrabol. Nutrabol is an HGH analogue that signal the pituitary gland to increase HGH output. One of it's side effects (if you can call it that) is an increase in ghrelin, which is your body's hunger hormone. You can order it from sarms1.com. Here is an article on it for more information: http://www.evolutionary.org/nutrobal-mk-677-ibutamoren

Besides that, base your diet around foods that you grew up on and enjoy eating. Stick with easy digesting food sources like rice, potatoes, tuna, egg whites etc. If you are having trouble eating enough, you could try blending your food.

Buy a high quality blender and blend together the following:
2 scoops of a high quality protein powder
oatmeal
natural almond butter or peanut butter
frozen fruit
banana
ice
chia/flax seeds
spinach/kale

You can easily make the shake 800 calories and drink it for breakfast.

i totally agree with musky. don't waste your money on B12. if you want to increase appetite nutrobal is the GOAT for that.

trust me I used it recently and i was getting up at night HUNGRY!! and even with eating so much I didn't put on a lick of fat and it helped me greatly recover injuries and boost strength. it flat out works and a great option for you

It shouldnt.

The only reason why b12 would make you more hungry, is if prior to consumption of it you are very very deficient in b12. Which I highly doubt as pretty much all the supplements are PACKED with vitamin b12 and also you get plenty of it from all the food sources.

I'll have to check out the nutrabol. Honestly my biggest hurdle is my appetite. When I'm not hungry, I'm not hungry. The thought of eating anything makes me nauseous until it returns naturally.

I've tried the b-vitamin stacks to boost appetite and would say honestly that they DO seem to make a difference, but it could be placebo.

Do you drink enough water? The biggest factor for me is my water intake. If I don't drink enough water, I don't get hungry. If I drink the gallon(s) a day I should be drinking, my appetite stays through the roof. I theorize that the water is helping my digestive system break down the food, allowing the process to work faster. If I'm dehydrated, there's not enough stomach/intestinal juices to start breaking down the food, thus taking longer to digest and causing blockage, and then the cycle repeats. Try waking up and pounding 32oz of water, I bet you notice a significant improvement by lunch time.
