I'm guessing almost all the youngsters of today don't know Don Howorth, but back in the 60's he was a major star in bodybuilding. He was one of the founding fathers of what we call "Mr. Olympia" today. read on...

Honestly, I have never heard of him until just now. Great body and beautiful lines. Interesting article.

My favourite part of the article was the ending. At 80 years old he is giving back and working with high school kids and teaching the benefits of lighting weights. I think it's really important for all young adults (especially men) to get into weights or sports as a stress relief. All of my friends in high school who were passionate about a sport or weight lifting stayed out of trouble. The kids with too much time on their hands always ended up getting into drugs.

He looked very natural. These days very few guys look like that even at local shows. In his time though, he was amazing.

bro i wish more bodybuilders had the same "natural" mindset like Don had...he was great

Thanks for the article. I really respect the classic bodybuilders - they did not rely as much on steroids, and they kept on working hard even though it was not as popular back in the days. These classic lines are just amazing.
