Veteran Log Dozers journey to the stage and cycle

Today was chest/shoulders/tri

1. Barbell incline 4x8-10 got 315x7! Big pr
2. Flat machine press 4x10-12 1xdrop set
3. Incline machine 2x failure
4. Jm press gotta get use to the movement again so I did 4x10 my tris were dead at those point

5. Db military 2x12 1xdrop
6. Cable push down complex 3 sets to failure 1 set normal push down to failure as well
6. Flys 4x20
7. Side raises 5x12-15

Chest shoulders tris thats a big training day, I would split the shoulders off from chest so no injuries. :D @Dozer55 incline 315 big time!

I have thought about going back to my older routine looked like this

Back/ reardelts

Chest/bis

Off

Legs
Shoulders/tris
Off

So if I did this I’d just hit the muscle groups again that recovered

This is fine but you need to do chest and tris, back and bis, shoulders with arms again and less by themselves thats the best :D

So when you same arms what do you mean cause arms to me is bis and tris.

That was a sick pump but I feel like I wasn’t gettin what I wanted out of it. My forearms are decent but maybe I’ll start directly working them too
 
That’s 5 sets to failure not 5 reps lol
a lot of dudes in the gym can't do many but can bench and row 300 pounds. pullups aren't easy

I think I’m going to get that workout a try and the volume will look low but I’m doing the 1 set thing for back,legs and chest my shoulders,bis and tris I’ll have that concept but it’ll have volume.
@Dozer55 arms bis/tris/forearms, you gotta hit them like legs :D
 
Week 13 of the cycle things are goin okay strength is good, pumps are crazy.

Legs were done today and went like this

1. Calves 3x15-20 seated then 4x standing 15-20 with 1 drop set

2. Squat 1x5-8. Body builder chick was asking some questions so I got cold but managed 550x3

3. Lying leg curls worked up to a hard set of 12 then did a drop set till I couldn’t do parcels did another failure/drop set after testing 2 mins

4. Leg extensions worked up to up to a hard set of 15-20 then did a brutal drop set again

5. Seated leg curls worked up to a hard 12-15 and did more drop sets of death.

After that I was done I hobbled to the locker room and left.

@Dozer55 week 13 looks legit bro leg curls and squats nice 550! you beast mode to the TOP
 
Make sure you are doing proper warm-ups and stretching you don't want to end up with a hip replacement or a knee replacement later in life
 
Yes but only for my real heavy sets or set
I need to start wrapping. I just use my SBD knee sleeves. I have t tried wraps in a long time.

Sleeves are nice youbjust slide on and go but I’m so use to wraps I say fuck it. I did do 500 for 1 without wraps and wasn’t even that bad if that chick didn’t talk the balls off me then I think 5-6 reps would of been doable
