Drug Testing

Hey Guys,

Quick question. Are SARMs detectable by a standard drug test meaning one just looking for weed and the sort, or do they have to draw blood?

Standard tests are looking for explicit drugs like amphetamines, marijuana etc. Also alcohol.

Not performance enhancing drugs

If you're doing like a 10 panel for work naw SARMS won't be there. The WADA list covers everything, marijuana, ostarine. Everything

Normally a urine test (they take two samples about half an hour apart) but they will also draw blood if you are under suspicion or a winner of a world championship or whatever. They do that to test for a variety of things that urine won't do, such as, are your testosterone molecules natural or plant based (testosterone powders are made from yams). They may also take multiple blood samples through the year to check on any fluctuations. Not sure, but maybe they need blood to detect some substances, but don't quote me on that.

Wada is the anti doping committee that tests for sports.

If you're doing it for work it will be a standard 10 panel testing for alcohol tobacco marijuanaand opium benzos etc. I couldn't see your business caring if you have ostarine in your body

SARMS are detectable in BOTH urine and blood tests - yes.

However, any test for an employer will be a standard drug and alcohol test. They will not be testing for performance enhancing drugs. Just recreational drugs, pain killers and alcohol.

Only if you are an extremely high level athlete competing at the national or Olympia level, do you have to worry about them testing for SARMS.

Just like with any other substance and drug, blood tests will only show the things that are being looked for. Therefore, if your employer won't be looking precisely for certain SARMS or AAS, none of these will be detected even if you are using them like crazy. It's not like they get a complete list of the things you are taking with just any blood test.

As mentioned, unless you are an elite athlete that is tested by WADA, then there is no need to worry. Testing for SARMS is very expensive and employers don't enough to test for them. They are more concerned about marijuana and opiates.
