Eating on cycle

just wondering. if your on a sust/deca cycle, do yall try and eat a lot but clean, or do you eat whatevers in front of you. reason i'm asking is i got into a conversation with someone bout that and their opinion was that you eat a lot of everything. I prefer to eat as clean as possible, lots of chicken, fish, lean meats, and low glycemic carbs as well as a ton of shakes. he seems to think that he can eat whatever he wants.
just wanted to know everyone elses thoughts.

the conversation you had with that person, either they are just naturally extremely lean and can get away with eating everything or they are one of those permabulkers in the gym who have a 38" waist and who walk around the gym with their chests all puffed out proud of themselves cause they are strong and big. that isn't fitness though and not something i want any part of

also remember just cause you see some 280 pounds bodybuilder on YT buying groceries and eating tons of food everyday, eating every 2 hours and waking up at night to eat doesn't mean you can just take steroids and eat like that and look like them. 99.9% of people who follow that shit just end up fat. remember they are on tons of drugs, insulin, roids, hgh, stims, and most of all have tremendous genetics. this misconception is quite annoying.

i'm not going to say anything more except we all have different goals. some dudes were skinny all their lives so they just want to get big and stay big. in that case yeah eat everything you want. but remember you WILL gain fat. our bodies store fat when you over eat, that is an indisputable fact and it is how we have managed to survive 2M years on this planet and survive famine

What is everything?
Nothing urks me more than this "clean food" hype. Do you put like detergents on it or what lol.
 
i dont care what your doing, its never wise to just eat "whatever is in front of you" man... just for overall health thats not smart... you dont just get a license to eat like shit because you are trying to gain size... that has never made any sort of sense to me... you dont have to be a fucking pig to gain weight etc...
 
Eat good whole foods while you're bulking. If you eat garbage, you will pack on more fat.

Forget the "clean" part. Plain and simple it comes down to macros. It doesmt make much difference what you eat. What matters is where your macros are at the end of the day. I mean you cant eat pizza and ice cream all day and expect your numbers to work. So you want to concentrate on high protein while keeping your fats and carbs in a certain targeted range. If your carbs and fats are higher than you should have all the time, you will definitely gain weight, but it will be over 90% fat and water. It's a balancing act to a certain macro ratio at a specified surplus to properly gain muscle without the fat. Reality is that just takes time. If you want the scale to move, then gaining fat is the way most people do it, but it isnt the right way

I don't think eating on a cycle is a very good idea. It can lead to poor digestion.

Just do the basics...high protien, carbs around 150-200 depending on ur goals and healthy fats...r u stepping on a stage this yr? If not just have common sense...no you dont want ice cream at 11pm sitting on the couch
