and I was competing quite a bit back in my late 30s

My profile picture was assigned by someone and that was me at the beginning of my current cycle at the end of July. This picture shows 3 months of progress. I have lost about 8 pounds but maintained muscle comp during the cut.
Yes I realize I need to add muscle that’s why I wanted to try EQ. I was in a deficit nearly this whole cycle but still was able to add muscle. I only lost 8 pounds and I know I lost way more than that in fat@Mr.GoodKat you have made some good progress so well done bro
I think you gotta work on the chest training a lot and shoulders so that can start next cycle.
If you truly want to push eq I would start with 500mgs and work from there.
Though I would log the training so we can help you improve because many bodyparts we can work in bro.
From my research 5:3 test to eq ratio is ideal. I’m going to run 500mg test and 300mg eq for my next cycle. I’m adding the EQ to act as an AI and for some extra strength and endurance which equates to more long term gains. I think your dosages are a little high tbh. Personally I’d lower them and throw in an oral since EQ takes forever to kick in anyway.Hey Evo Fam. I am wrapping up a cycle now of Test Deca and I think I want to give EQ a shot for my next go around. I’ve read countless posts on here and throughout the web but looking for more first hand advice.
First off I am 5-10, 216 pounds and I am a moderate aromatizer (average) I have taken up to a gram of test before and never got any test flu just had to up my AI a bit. I have experience with Deca, started out at 300 mg/week and increased up to 600 with no sides. I also have experience with Tren, started out at 225mg week and increased up to 525 mg with 700mg mast and 400mg test with little sides except the occasional tren sweats but nothing too severe.
I seem to have a pretty good tolerance for AAS and in my experience I have to push the doses up to see results. All gear I’ve used has been Geneza Pharm from Naps so I know it’s legit. My question is where should I start with a test EQ cycle for my next blast. I am thinking 1000 test 800 eq and is there anything else I should run alongside.

Appreciate the suggestion broSometimes we don't respond well with certain compounds it happens, running more vs less at times can be counter productive just depends on mutiple factors.
With how hou train how long the sessions are and all the cardio it could be holding you back by spiking cortisol levels and putting to much stress and inflammation on the body combining the gear amounts plus the physical impact.
I know for me I use low amounts of gear and weaker compounds at that and I respond extremely well on just 600 total mg of compounds.
Maybe you just need to do some adjustments and see what helps and what doesn't, worth a shot.

What has changed in your opinionYou do you... i can tell you with all certainty that 400-500 mg of eq is PLENTY... there is less than zero need to run eq that high and if you need to do that to make gains then you either have really bad gear or serious holes in diet and training... those kinds of doses shorten your life span and do not and some sort of significant huge difference in gains either... the adverse effects both short and long term, FAR outweigh ANY instant gratification, which once again will be temporary at best

You're not training properly. That is why you're not having the great results. Your cycle of 700 mast, 400 test, and 500 Tren make zero sense.
I don't understand the dosing on the gear. EQ + Test at almost 2grams.

One thing that I have learned and come to the realization as I have aged is that data and science is ever changing... Im more than man enough to always be accountable when I have made mistakes... I was far more in line with what the "bros" were saying when I was younger and for that, I am honestly embarrassed however I am accountable for that... NOW, I am in a far different place with far more understanding and hands on experience, working along side true doctors and practitioners and realizing so many of my past mistakes and assumptions that were inherently wrong... so I do understand that you saw old data and information, but I can tell you that I was wrong in those past instancesI’ve seen you recommend EQ at 800 before and your current video in YouTube recommends 600 so why now the recommendation down to 400.
