I have for the last year and half since I started lifting always lifted first thing in the morning fasted. Now that I been on the Oxyandrolone I get hungry halfway through my workout. Nothing I can't deal with. What do y'all think should I stay fasted or eat something or take a protein shake while or before working out?
you should train fasted and have a protein shake after bro
i have clients use an electrolyte mix with lemon flavor (no sugar and no fake chemical sugars just stevia stuff) in their water that helps @kcates
 
training is pretty good I would keep the bench to 15 reps and lower weight bro @kcates

In my powerlifting programming when I get to the week that I start not completing my reps at my 5x5 i then drop to 3x5 using the same weight I failed at then i continue the progressive overload. Then when my 3x5 fail I go to 3x3. Then when the 3x3 fail i deload and start over again at 85% of my 5 rep max at 5x5 my t2 exercises also drop to along with the 3x5 to 4x6 and then 3x3 to 4x4 but continue the progressive overload through the whole block. Then when i deload I start my 4x8 at 55% of my 5 rep max. Only thing that doesnt follow this progression is the T3 exercises. They stay at there weight until the amrap on the last set hits 10 additional reps. Then I will increase the weight. I am folllowing this programming until May Then I will start my programming to peak for my testing of my 3 lifts the week before I turn 50. MY goal is to reach a total of greater then 1000lbs for 5 rep maxes on the 3 powerlifting lifts. I will probably reach this before then so I may change my goal. When I tested for 5 rep max's for this block I am currently doing I was already at 930lbs. My goal then was to reach a total of 1000 lbs for a 1 rep max on the three lifts but I can probably hit that now. Then when I hit 50 years old in August I am going to make a new goal. I am thinking heavily about doing a cut and get down around 200 lbs since I have been bulking for strength since I started lifting September 2023. Then after that cut get back to pushing the total higher.

That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure. I use EAA's and electrolytes with my preworkout on the drive to the gym. I think that Oxandrolone is kicking in making me hungry. It just started this week and I have noticed I am getting more pump in my right calf and right glute while working out. I then noticed today i got a pump in my lower back on the treadmill. It all goes away after i leave the gym. I could increase my taurine but I think for now see how it goes.

How many mg a day of psyllium husk should I take? I am glad you mentioned that I am about to order some supplements and can added it to the order.

You will surpass that goal. My goal is a 1850 total on the 3 lifts by end of next year.

the issue with AAS, especially at PED dosages is they make the body more insulin resistant. so you will find it more comfortable to spread out carbs but you won't die .. certain steroids are much easier to fast during. i can tell you if you try and fast while on tren it won't go well, the sides will get really bad
 
Tuesday:

Training:

High 5's 5 x each arm
Handcuffs with rotation x5
Dislocates with band x 10

T1: 5+ min rest between sets
Overhead press seated on smith machine 5x5 100lbs
T2: 2 min rest between sets
Deadlift 4x8 275 lbs
Lying Barbell row 4x8 115 lbs
T3: 2 min rest between sets
Upright row 3x12 45 lbs bar. Give shoulder a break went light.
Lat pulldown 3x12 140lbs

Foam roll mid thoracic 60 secs
Foam roll teres major and minor both sides 60 secs each.

30 minutes treadmill incline 5 speed 3.2

Meals:
Daily supplements
Today I take my TRT shot and my Mounjaro shot.

Meal after lifting
7 eggs and 12 ounces of chicken thighs

50 grams protein shake mid day

1 pound of fish not sure what kind
6 ounces of cauliflower.

No I just self regulate everything. Basically just keeping reps in the 3-5 range in prep mode and increase weight each week or every other week. Also do a ladder up to maxes every 2-3 weeks on peaking phase and then dropping back and doing some working sets of 3-5 with lower weight to keep fatigue high so we can get a really good taper effect when we taper. I figure we will do 3-4 week taper this time. My wife peaks in 3 weeks of tapering while I peak on 4 so we will compromise. Probably go 3'weeks taper. To be honest I have no idea what my workouts will be until the day of. lol. It's not rocket science though. Increasing weights each week works until it doesn't. I am always on top of it though. Just lower the volume when needed as long as u can keep fatigue high. The whole key is to be able to stay relatively injury free and things go very well.

Good to know. Tren is not on the radar anytime soon or maybe never at my age. This is my first time doing anything with my TRT and it's only the 50 mg of Oxyandrolone split into two dose daily. Doing 8 weeks of this total. Then going to stop get blood work and see how that looks. Then cruise on TRT. Then later will try a higher testosterone Enanthate cycle maybe 400 or 500 mg a week. I am still in the beginner phases. If I was younger and still could produce normal testosterone I would have pushed my natty abilities first for many years. Glad I found a place to help guide me through all this and not guessing at it alone.
 
You really should look into deca. At our age it's a must. Sure lubricates the joints. 200mg is enough if stacked with test.

Ok I am looking to do a higher testosterone cycle in the future will look at adding in some deca. Haven't fully decided what I will do as my next cycle yet. Still learning about all the stuff out there.

Question: do I need EAA's before workout in the early AM if I am already get in my protein in whole food and sometimes having a protein shake daily? I am thinking it may be a waste but I am not sure. I am trying to decide if I need to order more or not.
EAAs before training mean you not fasted bro better you be fasted training @kcates
