You got to experiment with different things to see what works for you.

I trained with people who eat hot dogs and pizza before their workouts and are fine. But for the most part, that's not smart.
10-4 yeah I don't think I will be eating that early in the am. I like training on just my supplements with just the food from the night before in my stomach. I been doing that for the last year and half and it has been really good for me.
 
Meal timing is absolutely important in this game. You will figure things out as you go.
 
deca is gonna make it harder to fast. Because your appetite will go up so much on it, just keep that in mind.
 
if you are training purely for strength then don't fast ahead of your workout that day.

but if you aren't training for strength or you are just doing cardio then train fasted IMO.
What do you suggest that I could take on short notice in the early morning on my way out the door to the gym? I get up, get dressed, mix up my supplements, and check my blood pressure then head to the gym every morning. I cant get up any earlier then I already do because I typically only have a couple of hours with the family at night after work.

Nice log over there. I like the volume. Might still your training after I hit my lifts in August when I change things up, just not sure what direction I am going to go after I turn 50 in August. I like the meals and how you actually make them for others to learn from who may not be good at cooking. good stuff.
 
Wednesday:

Training:

Reverse Fly: 3x25 20lb dumbbell
Partial side raises: 3 x 25 25lb dumbbell
Single arm cable supported lateral 3x15 20 lbs
Barbell shrugs 4x8 225lbs
Chinups on assisted machine focused on the biceps 4x8 -85lbs
Incline Dumbbell curls 4x8 25lbs
Dumbbell concentration curl 4x10 30lbs
Barbell Reverse curls 4x12 40lb
Inverse curls 4x8 170 lbs
Reverse hypers 4x12 110lbs
Reverse crunches 4x15
Decline situps 4 x15

Cardio:
30 min. Treadmill incline 5 speed 2.5

Meals:
Morning supplements before and after workout plus Anavar.

Meal after workout:
6 eggs 12 ounces of beef and 6 ounces of rice.

Popcorn snack

Dinner:
1lb of hamburgers with cheese

Monday:

Training:

Combat stretch 5 each leg
90/90 5 each leg

T1 exercise: 5+ min rest
Squat with safety squat bar: 5x5 315lbs

T2 exercises: 2 min rest
Incline bench Arsenal Strength Machine 4x8 155
Bench press 4x8 165 lbs

T3 exercise: 2 min rest
Leg curl: 3x12 120 lbs
Leg extension: 3x12 115 lbs

Cardio:
30 min treadmill 5 incline 3.2 speed

Meals:
Had a 50 grams protein shake before workout. I had to leave the gym as I was warming up for squats to take my son his cloths to school then come back. I was hungry at that point.

Daily supplements

Meal after working out
1.5 lbs of ground beef.
Out of eggs
6 ounces of rice

Dinner:
4 ounces of meat balls
4 ounces of sausage
2 ounces of green peppers and onions
6 ounces of chicken breast

Yeah, that was a first time I had to get pulled out of training. My wife typically handles them for me. She lets me train and run my business. She runs her business and handles the kids. She is also an 15 year school teacher and now owns a business going into preschools teaching robotics and stem to the little kids. When I can help it's always nice to be able to and glad I have the ability to drop what I am doing and go help
 
Shoulder update:

It's been a week of taking it easy, priming it, stretching it, and just moving it. Was pretty much able to still go workout with it. I reloaded where I felt like it could use it on certain exercises. This was the training day that I hurt it on. I was able to bench today. I should have lifted 210lbs today. I warmed up progressing through the weight up to what I normally would lift. My warm up sets with 185 felt good but didn't think 210lbs would be a good idea today. I did 5x5 at 195 lbs instead. It went well. My incline bench increased in weight as normal and felt strong. Last week I don't think I did my dips. I did them today and they felt great got 5 reps past 12 on my AMRAPS on the last set. I think next week it should be good to go again. It doesnt hurt anymore. Just glad I didn't mess up any of the anchors in there.

@kcates if you can do the dips go for it but be careful. :D
Incline curls great for pump.
 
Anavar question:

I take my first 25 mg in the am around 530-6 am. When should I take the second dose? I been taking it around 1pm with my electrolytes. Also I heard I can mess with sleep so I was taking it earlier not to mess up my sleep. I try to go to bed by 8 and be asleep no later then 9 pm.
@kcates 2nd dose usually before training is best on training days, non training days 12-1 pm.
