You're getting plenty it sounds like. Hard to eat that much all at once. I had terrible diff time doing OMAD fasting that’s a lot of protein I. One meal. You’re a big dude though. If you are feeling ok working out fasted I guess go for it. Many people do. I just was finding lack of energy and aches pains felt my strength was really lacking doing a fasted workouts. Was wondering if the late bigger meal could be made up by taking those calories in morning with pre workout. That’s all. It’s said we should not eat high carbs later in eve. But I work 12hour shifts 7-7:30. I do eat late meals like 8:30 pm go to bed 10pm then back up for work early works ok for me. I too like to have decent fuel intake day ahead of big workouts like deadlifts or squats! Keep up the good work! If things go flat you’re not making gains then change it up. 💪🌸
Yeah I like some carbs the night before. I can tell a difference in my workouts if I have carbs or no carbs the night before. I have always eaten a lot of big meat meals even before I worked out. Now it's just minus a lot of breads, carbs, and sweat tea with it. Question for you, with that work schedule can you only lift on days off or do you still got it in? Things are definitely still progressing. Since May I have lost 2 inches on my belly and gained 2 inches on my right bicep. I been eating at maintenance or above. My last block of training I failed my squat progressive overload 5x5 at 285. I failed today at 325. Now I will drop to 3x5 and go after 325 next week and keep moving the weight up doing 3x5 until I fail at those. Then drop to 3x3 keep moving up. Still getting strong block to block.

Monday 3/10/25:

Training:
Combat stretch 5 on each leg
90/90 5 on each side
Squat 2,3,2,3,1x 325
Incline Bench iso machine 4x8 160lbs
Bench Press 4x8 170lbs
Leg extensions 3x12 120lbs
Leg curls 3x12,12,17 120lbs AMRAPS on last set

Daily supplements

Meal after working out:
6 eggs and 50 grams protein shake

Lunch: 9.7 ounces of pork loin

Dinner: 6 ounces of rice, and 1 lb of crockpot chicken thighs.

Made plenty for meal prep for a few days

That’s good!! Bread sweets are killers on the diet. But taken in the right meals it with moderation ok. I had hard time on the glps getting large volume of food at any given time. So it’s good you can get your protein in Couple meals. What about your left bicep bro?? I only lift on days off. 2 on 2 off primarily until every other weekend when i have 4 in a row off. I take Sunday off. It gives my body a good recovery. If your program is working for you follow it.

@kcates thats a nice meal layout and you're training hard again.

On your days off up the protein as well.

You're actually doing it right, you should be doing more fasting at your size and more controlled eating like OMAD. You and @RoidRageWife have different goals, so stick to your plan @kcates
What is OMAD? How much protein increase do I do on day off?

OMAD (one meal a day). I think your protein is fine and your trying to cut Recomp as well. @LevButlerov this was question for you bro. I don’t think u need to increase protein on rest days.

I am not trying to cut I am trying to build strength and build muscle. I got put on TRT last year. For my first oral I decided to try var because it helps with strength and doesn't add a lot of water for my first time doing anything with my TRT. I have never used anything prior to TRT. I plan to peak and retest my 3 lifts The first week of August. Right now I am just building muscle and strength is my goal. I may run a cut after I retest or I may shoot for a higher number. My goal is to be around 1200lbs total 1 rep max. My goal I have set is 1000 lbs for a 5 rep max. Before this block of training I retested my 5 reps max and it was 930 lbs total. I don't care if I got abs or not. I rather be big and strong right now. I am also working to get my bench to 315. Now if I lose some weight through the process Great it's a bonus but the main priority is keeping my blood work all in the green when I am just on my TRT and not become prediabetic ever again.

I had made my decision to use Var before I found this forum and didn't know anything. Now I will consult here before I do anything in the future.

@kcates if you want to get stronger and more mass, thats possible we would just need to extend your eating window to 16/8, you can still build lean mass easy in that eating window, can you fit your meals?

No it's going to be more like 14/10. I work at other people's homes or construction job sites and can't get a good 2nd meal in until I get home at night. I get up go workout then come home eat a big meal. Then go work 6-8 hours onsite then come home and eat another meal. Then I am done for the day and go to bed so I can get at least 8 hours of sleep.

Is my eating window the 16 hours or the 8 hours? I guess I should have asked that first. I assumed when I answered first the eating window is 8 hours.

I am curious was using anavar as a first oral cycle trying something with my TRT was it a good choice? I did my first week at 25mg see how my body felt on it then went to 50 mg a week and I am doing it for 8 weeks total. I am on week 5 now. I have used Ultima products. I haven't had much issues with pumps thankfully. I also take 4 grams of taurine and electrolytes which I hope mitigated those pumps.

It takes 3-4 weeks to really feel it, but I would suggest cycle support organ/liver support n2guard with the anavar, yes they do support the EVO family so it would be a plus for the whole family and yourself to have it with orals @kcates

Today's equipment highlight. The lying Barbell row. I like the squeeze I get on this exercise. It feels really good after being warmed up from deadlifts.
Warming up for deads is the best :D

Food porn, my 11 year old son made dinner. He loves to cook. He made brussel sprouts wrapped in bruschetta with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Butter garlic steak bites. It was really good.
wow! hes a great cook :D better then many meal preps I've see on EVO lol
