Approved Log First time tren log

Today's training below. This is going to be an interesting block as we are trying to max bench and deadlift in the same cycle and make those the prime focus over the next couple weeks.

Work up to RPE 7 on front squat with 5ct pause:
Hit 335 and felt good there

Flat bench:
1x5 @ 285
1x3 @ 305
1x1 @ 330

Flat bench with sling shot:
Worked to 3 reps at 350. First time using a slingshot so it took some getting used to

Back to flat bench (no sling shot)
1x3 @ 330
1x3 @ 345

Close grip floor press:
Worked to 5 reps @ 275
Back down 2x5 @ 245
1xamrap @ 245 for 12 reps

Accessories:
Face pulls 3x12 @ 110
Barbell row with 2ct pause at chest 4x5 @ 245
Overhead DB carry 3x100ft @ 50

Current physique at 260lbs pic attached, don't mind the douchebag pic lol it was for the lady. By far the leanest I've ever been at this weight and also the strongest.

What's your max bench? I'm doing 162.5kg Friday for 2-4 singles with elbow sleeves. My all time 1RM is 418lbs

This 405 was my all time best. I never really trained bench until the last 6-8 weeks

My cals have been slightly above maintenance around 3700-3800. Same vertical diet I've been following

Overall I think your training is very well put together for your goals. Whats going to be your deadlift PR? 6 plates?

I'm not sure yet. My all time best is 705 at 280lbs BW, so I'd love anything over that

are you going to do a strongman show?

I have a just for fun show coming up in May but I don't have any serious comps scheduled yet. I've done multiple in the past but took some time off to heal my back and lean out. I'll definitely be entering some summer shows this year
 
Solid day today, peaking for a deadlift PR next week.

Deadlifts


Warm ups from empty bar then:
1x3 @ 495
1x3 @ 585
1x3 @ 615
2x1 @ 655
2x1 @ 675

Technically 675 is a bodyweight PR for me at this weight.

SSB box squat. Was supposed to go pretty heavy but I was gassed after deadlifts and decided to stay lighter.


2x1 @ 430
2x1 @ 470
2x3 w/ 2ct pause @ 370

Only did a few accessories after cause I was beat.

I did my final shot last week so I ended the cycle at 12 weeks and am using the next week or so the tren is still in my system to peak this deadlift PR. Current bodyweight is hovering between 255-260, physique pic is attached. I don't feel like I look bigger or more jacked then when I started but I do feel leaner even at the higher bodyweight, and I'm even down another notch on my lifting belt.

After next week I'll do a wrap up post of the cycle.

You looking very jacked! legs re ripped and strong!

whats your plan on this cycle? you staying on TRt or whats the plan?
 
you planning to do any strongman or powerlifting shows?
