Well, I feel I might cop a bit of flak for this one! But oh well, I would like to see the effects of going Plant Based for the cut? For Cardio?
And I also plan on doing a blast/Bulk following this plant based as well 🪴

I am doing this out of interest from a health perspective, not for the love of animals. (I am sorry cows, if you didn't want us to eat you, why do you taste so delicious?) 🐄

If you have any questions? Feel free to ask! I am only more than happy to answer them all 😊

people in the blue zones 95% of their diets are plant based
this will be a great log to follow and look at.
i eat atleast 60-70% of my diet as plant based. some days higher. this is where the fiber, water, vitamins and minerals come from and are very important.
i'm actually right now gonna chow on some brocolli, asparagus, cantaloupe and pineapple in that order. i've got a killer cardio session in 2 hours and that will be my last meal before i hit it hard

Will be following the log closely, great to see a another land downer man logging. Can see you using great UGL products💪💪
Always appreciate your support mate! Thank you 🙏

If you haven't already, there is a series on Netflixs called 'Live to 100' it looks into the blue zones and the people there. Incredible what they are still doing! They aren't just alive, they are still living in their 80s, 90s and even in their 100s!!

So started my plant based diet today.
Breakfast was Scrambled Tofu, avocado, tomato on toast. Same as my normal day off meal, but replacing the eggs.
Dinners was a Pineapple, potato and Chickpea curry. Gotta be honest, they were both really good! The Scrambled Tofu is a game changer!

Another interesting thing to note is egg vs Scrambled Tofu nutrition break down:

Eggs vs Scrambled Tofu
102g vs 107g
148cal vs 176cal
12.7g Protein vs 19g Protein
10.3g Fat vs 10.1G Fat
1.4g Crabs vs 1.6g Crabs

A lot more volume, for very similar calories, while protein being 50% more! And fat being less. (Yes I know, it's by .2g, but I'll take that as a win! Haha)

I didnt get a workout in yesterday as I got my bloods taken so I can see how my body reacts over the course of this log to swapping to a plant based diet.
But it was a beautiful day so I went and did the walking track around river close by.

yes i have. but I was a little disappointed in that series because they didn't delve enough into fasting and they also weren't specific with diet. There's a lot of garbage put in food in America especially with the additives where you could eat similar Foods and still not get anywhere.

australia has a lot of laws in place to keep crap out of foods. example is bleached flour. its illegal in australia, but completely legal in america. and half our breads in america are bleached. not good

nice to see another plant-based log going up
this one will be really fun to follow

one of my aunts has been plant-based eating for years
she is like 90 years old and looks like she's 50

Fasting is something you're very pro, right? It's something I want to incorporate more, but still a little unsure on how to utilise it around training days 🤔

As for the American diet! Oh man! I could rant for hours and hours about this one! Even watching the YouTube series 'Food Wars by Insider Food' really highlights just how atrocious the food system is in USA

looking forward to seeing the results on this
your health markers will also improve a lot I predict
This is actually one of the things that will be most interesting to follow! Especially as it will be proper, trackable information.
Now, I did get the wrong panel, but the test includes:
  • Free and Total Testosterone
  • E2 (Oestradiol)
  • SHBG
  • Liver function (LFT)
  • Kidney function (UEC)
  • Chol/TG/HDL/LDL
  • Glucose
  • High Sensitivity CRP
  • Full Blood Count

@KiwiFella you should try 16/8 fasting you'll actually make more gains from it

those are good I'd like to see prolactin in there
