Got caught

This is exactly my thoughts and how I grew up as well.

Wow, you guys were spoiled! I had to share a room growing up. That said, my kids who are now adults know that I use AAS, but I have always encouraged them to avoid them, and avoid the mistakes I have made. They all work hard to stay fit, but without any gear.

I don’t live with my parents. I haven’t for years, but I’m currently visiting them over summer.

Not too young nor do I live with my parents. Just visiting for the summer.

Nope, I’m still here.

Gotcha and was giving you shit but ya man even traveling get a cheap locking case as im assuming you werent flying anywhere with your gear so that way no one can get into it.

You can snag a pistol case or something like that with a combo lock on it for $20-$30 and you are good to go.

I mean I had it inside of a travel bathroom bag in one of the zipper pockets. And it was placed in a drawer. It’s funny because my parents were looking for toothpaste. No point in buying anything special since I’ll be leaving soon and can easily leave everything out at my own place.

Honestly never thought my parents would find out I was taking test, but it happened today. The irony is that I have only one shot left and then I was getting rid of everything. I’m genuinely surprised that my parents found a vial seeing how they’ve only been upstairs 3 times in the past 4 months or so. Made up a lie saying that it was to heal an injury and they kind of bought it. Either way I’m old enough to make my own decisions regarding my health and I have been for many years.

But not to leave home and live with mum and dad? And then post about how you got caught... c'mon dude.

So I've seen this. Remind me what the issue is. You said they believed your story

There’s no issue, I’m just posting about how I got caught. Getting caught is usually one of the risks that come with taking steroids and probably one of the most commonly asked questions on forums.

this is the problem with this generation (which otherwise has potential) your parents spoil you kids too much.

That is the type of thing that each generation has said about succeeding generations throughout the entirety of human history. As a Baby Boomer (1958), I heard things of the sort throughout the 1970s and well into the '80s ad nauseam.

"The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers." --Attributed to SOCRATES by Plato, according to William L. Patty and Louise S. Johnson, Personality and Adjustment, p. 277 (1953).

.

yup, but it is true. each generation in the US has become more spoiled as far as growing up. has a lot to do with the 'suburban lifestyle' of living debt rich with 2 mortgages, 3 car payments, 40K in CC debt, etc. but the #1 reason is parents are only having 1 or 2 kids instead of 3 or 4 like when i grew up. also MARKETING. way more marketing today with computers and electronics. kids NEED to have the latest $1000 Iphone, $500 video game controller, etc. wasn't like that growing up at all

- - - Updated - - -

sorry for my rant but i found that statement very disrespectfull

i actually thought your rant was A+ and good. you didn't insult nor anything. I liked it

but i wasn't calling YOU OUT. i was calling your generation out. there are always exceptions but you have to factor in where i live which is a pretty wealthy part of the country and YES the kids here are too spoiled. however like i said they are otherwise a great generation and hopefully can change the direction of this country before it is too late

It depresses me to say this - but @stevesmi is right. My generation is extremely lazy.

I just had some random person on social media reach out to me. They wanted to start getting into working out and asked if they could work out with me. I said sure. Meet me tomorrow at the gym at 6AM

"That's too early"

that information changes things and can happen to anyone visiting family over the summer.

my advice is don't plan cycles around vacations or visits. and if you do need to take something like this keep it in a suitcase hidden. it isn't like your parents are going to go through their 25 year olds son suitcase

Did you at least give the person a participation trophy because they tried to try to work out?

To reiterate, Socrates wrote, nearly 2500 years ago: "The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers." --Attributed to Socrates by Plato, according to William L. "You know, if you'd have told me 20 years ago I'd see children walking the streets of our Texas towns with green hair, bones in their noses, I just flat-out wouldn't have believed you." --Cop from No country for old men. great movie and set in the late 70's i believe.

Precicely my point. This sort of thing is highly cyclical, which is one of the reasons why I have never castigated succeeding generations. After all, having grown up here in Hollywood, California during the '60s and '70s, my peers and I took an awful lot of that crap. I swore then that I would never repeat that behavior, and I haven't - not once.

Why would he apologize? It wasn’t directed toward you. Most millennials are little bitches. That is a fact. My daughter is one of them. Her friends are all the same. I did not raise her that way but her friends have influenced her to a point. At my work, I have to tip toe around millennials. Do you know they are also treated as if they were a minority at my place of biz. Yes, they have a group for them. A safe space. And they also have classes for everyone else on how to deal with them. That shit was not done with boomers, gen x. Etc...
