Grapefruit with oral steroids

Increases along with piperine or black pepper.

Wont make the difference, or a noticeable one, you'd hope for. Much of what follows comes from the terminology used (protein) vs the science we'd like it to be

1) Consumption or ingest - ability to swallow. A way to improve that would be liquid.
2) Digestion - obviously breaking it down in the gut. Digestive enzymes
3) Absorption - see Stevesmi's reply. It arguably means 'more' (small percentage) becomes available.

So imagine you maximized how much of an oral your body can have to use. What now? Will you see more muscle? How much of an affinity to the oral in question due you have? Are you a slow gainer or a fast one? How soon after the previous cycle (have you 'cleaned' enough receptors?) have you allowed? And what about the simple basics - do you eat, train or rest enough? Why do some 'need' 2000mg+ on cycle and others do real well on under 1000mg? By way of example I suspect I did well when I wasn't on TRT and between cycles with average T levels. And why I've done very well on under a gram. Equally, I didn't see much more when I went over a gram.

In simple terms if all we had to do, allowing for those variables above, was 'boost' absorption then companies would include it as an additive in their products. There ARE products with these added but not PEDs as far as I know

It's also why some, NOT ALL, scripted meds include warnings against use grapefruit when on that med. IIRC it's in some Pre-workout products (boosting the effects of stims) and is warned against on the more potent painkillers

Does eating grapefruit increase absorption of oral steroids or decrease it? What about accutane?

I know grapefruit is a cyp450 inhibitor so I was thinking it increases the absorption.
@Madmax46 yes this is an oldschool thing, grapefruit with oral steroids for higher absorption.

I think sublingual is much better if you go VS batter of the 2 methods, but also quercetin and piperine as @stevesmi suggested

@Madmax46 what I'd like to know is what happened to your log? it dropped off and you went MIA, why did you stop sharing with the EVO family? makes us sad to see and we missed you.

@Madmax46 bro i think hooch makes gear work better too. when my son brews it i do beter

@Madmax46 Bros why don't you test out the theory yourself with a log and you can kind of experiment with this.
Then we'll know for sure it would be a good little experiment

Run 2 cycles. Keep all parameters the same. One WITH and one WITHOUT. I say it'll make almost no to zero difference.

Again it's not always about upping absorption. It's more about upping utilization. Which is what the body actually uses vs what's available

@Madmax46 it will make maybe a 5% difference. are you concerned with your liver?

@Madmax46 Back in the old days, that's what we would do. We would take our orals with grapefruit juice. did it help? yes. it would make the oral 33% more effective

I'd argue that 33% seems awfully specific and why don't you do it now if it works? By way of what we did back then vs what we don't do now (cos it seemed like a good idea but wasn't) pyramiding up and down

@Mobster back in those days me and Nelson Montana were testing out these theories and that is what we came up with

Thanks for the reply.

Don't get me started on Nelson lol. I LIKED what he did when he worked on the round table stuff etc over at MM2K. But often, when he was here, if you questioned ideas he'd lose his shit.

Like I said above I can see it would increase absorption and availability but not actual utilization. It's been argued that this is true of ALL steroids. For example just how much does 'Joe' get from using 200mg of Test E. It almost certainly differs between individuals. And it is, as I said, very much of a 'if it genuinely made a difference we'd still do it'. We'd see it added to products.

All that said we DO need those 'thinkers'. The next level up will come as much from increasing utilization as it will from another peptide

@Mobster yeah that is true. Nelson was very mentally fragile.

he once stopped talking to me for a year cause i said you needed to run primo longer then 2 weeks to get results. there was an incident too where they kicked him off a plane cause he didn't want to sit next to a mixed race individual. he is very entitled to say the least.

WHAT-THE-ACTUAL-FUCK?

He does remind me of a few people I've met over the years. Heck, I might even have the odd aspect of it myself. There's a local, nice enough fella, who literally used to huff and puff as you talked as though he was waiting for your BS to finish so his far more worthy words could come lol. It can come not appreciating the value of the other persons words. We now talk as equals.

One HUGE aspect from those old chats he did WAS the difference of opinions.
