gummy bears post workout???

I eat poptarts, or reduced fat oreos, protein. 1 hr later a real meal. Works great for me. It will depend on a lot of things mostly how you react to carbs. I react really well to carbs. I went keto for a while and just got fat and weak. I switched to carb heavy diet. Became unfat and less weak pretty quickly.

...reproduction fast cuz their splits and ultimately their goals... Glycogen is stored energy...as long as it is replenished by the next workout or activity normal Joe's would be fine with food.

You sure some gummy bears don't have high fructose corn syrup? Cause I'm willing to bet most are if not organic. That being said I would get organic gummies. I buy them for my kids and they taste great.

thanks for all the information.
Im an endomorph and Im dieting down.
Would it be better to eat no carbs right after workout and only drink a protein shake and than eat real carbs like sweet potatoe with meat 1hour after my protein shake??
I wanna burn fat as much as possible.

You just need to get your diet in check. Weigh your food out. And be serious about what your eat. Honestly that anabolic window is all bro science. If it benefits you mentally to eat your carbs after then great. You body will replenish what it needs to as you feed it. If anything pre/intra would be of greater concern to fuel whatever it is you do for workouts.

And poptarts gummy bears and doughnuts are good so I eat them. Could I be leaner if I didn't. Maybe. But right now I don't care.

A big bag of maltodextin costs fuck all. I use that as my intra workout and have blended oats and protein post workout. The difference between real food and shit food makes a massive difference to your body and how you look.

Gummy bears have a decent amount of protein.. They must be good for you

This is exactly what I believe. I haven't had a post workout shake in over years, I go home and eat and I'm doing just fine..

I agree bro because I'm hungry as hell after I workout and some gummy bears and going to cut it

As prior folks referenced, Dr. Stoppani likes dextrose immediately post workout to help replenish glycogen, spike insulin, and help shuttle your protein, creatine, and amino acids to your muscles ASAP. You can eat when you get home, but I don't have that kind of free time myself. I drink all of the above within 30 minutes of my workout ending. You're on the right track with focusing on nutrition. Better to be nazi-like than sloppy. Otherwise, you're wasting your time and money.

IF you are looking to burn as much fat as possible, i wouldnt be looking to spike sugar intake with gummy bears

If you're talking about your "anabolic window," you want fast digesting dextrose (i.e. pure dextrose powder; some candies) , not fructose (sugar from fruit), waxy maize, or maltodextrin which are all too slow digesting/gastric emptying to accomplish that. A bag of dextrose is like $5 on bb.com. No BS in it like preservatives, colors, etc people are concerned with.

If u tryin to burn as much cals as possible look at fasted workouts. I also just read an article on that on md that suggested u can raise muscle building on a fasted workout. Wether or not it works i have no idea but a little research may show it could work for u.

I can't tell if this guy is serious or not... My first thought was "Surely this guy is trolling..."

If you're serious bro, the answer is no. Gummy bears have a bunch of sh*t that you don't want in your system. Like aggirl said, stick with oatmeal and the like, and maybe throw in some fruit like blueberries or bananas. In general, I try and stay away from any food that's man made.
