When I was in Korea (stationed there in the Army) gear was legal for sale in Korea just by going into the pharmacy and telling them what you wanted. The kicker was Korean pharmacies were ruled off limits for American soldiers by the chain of command, but money talks over there and the people in the pharmacy would not turn you away.
