High blood pressure

Hi

I've always had normal blood pressure.

Yesterday my father bought a blood pressure monitoring kit and I thought I would give it a go.

It came back as 141/75 - which is way too high.

The only thing that's changed in my lifestyle, is my 3x protein supplements a day, extra calories intake and of course weight training for gains.

I try to make it "good calories" with nuts/seeds etc.

Hardly any alcohol & 1 coffee a day.

Cardio 3x30mins week.

Anyone know of any connection between high blood pressure and training/supplements?

Cheers.

How do you know if you've always had ok blood pressure?
Typical supplements should not cause any severe blood pressure issues. The only supplement I can think of right now is creatine because it can cause you to retain more water.

Your high blood pressure is coming from something other than supplements, unless you are calling steroids supplements

What are these “supplements” lol
