How do you get Big Blocky Abs/Core?

I know its kind of something most people try to avoid but I always admired those guys with huge blocky abs on a thick core. I was wondering if anyone knew what I could do to achieve this, I dont plan on getting on stage so I dont need to worry about physique too much.

I still got some fat to lose but I want to atleast start working on it and getting my abs to bulge out. I heard training the inner abs might help with this but not sure how to go about this.

You guys are always full of knowledge, thank you for any advice.

Are you talking about the big pro’s guts pushing their abdominal wall out? That’s GH gut. their intestines are growing from high levels of igf. Most guys don’t like this look because it takes away from aesthetics

lots of hgh, insulin, genetics and food and you will get that.. and then obviously a lot of ab work. it isn't particularly healthy to have a GH gut and i have to wonder why you want that look so bad.
 
The shape is genetic. That's as true of a pro as it is anyone else. Whether abs are visible or not is, of course, down to diet and bodyfat levels. So, like any muscle you wanna develop, train them - get lean and see what they look like. Maybe (and it is a maybe) training them with weights MIGHT help as will working the obliques (muscles on either side).

The guy on the right... That’s GH gut to the max. He looks horrible imo
 
thanks mobster, I will deff train abs hard. At the end of this cycle I plan to trim up to so hopefully can drop 10-20 of fat and the abs exposed
 
Sadly...a lot of it comes down to genetics. Mainly hip insertions and core length.

Guys with those abs that really 'pop out' genetically have a short torso so their abs look really prominent.

All you can do is train abs 2-3 days per week and stay under 8% body fat so they show. All the rest is determined by genetics
 
Thanks Muskate, I know even the number of abs you have can vary from person to person.

U'll make it my goal to find out what I've got this year. when I had no body fat, i had no muscle so abs werent there, then dirty bulking in the past always kept my fat too high. I know I atleast got the upper 4 pack. I'll train them plenty hard and diet hard so we'll see what comes of it.
 
Do you mean isolate Abs 2-3 times a week or work them as when doing squats. Front squats deadlifts rows, bench all major strength developers and core same time

I've been trying to focus on my abs and core during all my lifting to try and give it the most work out. It's a different feeling for sure as it does help to keep you more stable. I figure now while i'm on cycle is the best time to do it to obtain maximum growth.

Also one other question, i'll be switching to masteron at the end of my cycle, should I still take a normal test along side it? I'm trying to focus on trimming up the last month of the cycle to drop that body fat.

I would keep the test in but drop it to a TRT dosage.

look up the last video from sixpackabs on youtube. that is a fantastic way to build abs.
 
All in genetics bro. That pic of dude on right looks like crap imo.
