HRT bloodwork coming up

Lawyerguy1

Growing Brother
I use MD ordered testosterone gel for testosterone replacement. Come to find out they can't renew my prescription without new bloodwork. Which is irritating because it's supposed to be refilled at the pharmacy next week. I use (sometimes quite a bit) extra T gel that I get on my own outside of the MD basically as a blast and cruise and I've been in the middle of doing that right now. Not the same as injecting, but it works. Anyway, now that I know I need bloodwork ASAP to get the MD stuff renewed I stopped using any extra as of today. Considering gel is just transdermal and is a daily application of actual straight testosterone with a very short half life in the body, how long do you think before my levels return to a baseline as if I'd only ever been using it as prescribed? I set up labs for next Saturday, 8 days from now.

8 days should be enough time but pushing it an extra week is even better

Cool, thx. I'm doing labs on my own this coming Monday just for shits and giggles so that'll be interesting. Even if I'm still a bit high by next Saturday I doubt it would be red flags high but I guess we'll see. I don't want to push it too far out, doc obviously knows this is all being done last minute because technically by end of next week I'm supposedly out of gel. Labs will be Saturday right after I supposedly run out and then I still need a video appointment with him which is the following Wednesday.

@Lawyerguy1 you would need at least 7 days to get your blood levels back, to be safe, so stop taking anything.

Can you tell me @Lawyerguy1 what happened to you? Havent seen you around? and you didnt post your LOG or any updates, kind of sad to see.

Thx Lev, I'm always around. I go in phases on posting lol. :) At 50 it's now more about the maintenance than itis the logs. 6' 4", 220's, b/f about 16-17 percent which is fine enough to look good for my age and not be hungry all the damn time. To anyone on here who isn't sure though I will say this, the sponsors here are responsive and legit. So feel free to learn, dive in, but don't do stupid shit.

Get it posted up

definitely get your log posted
this way we can follow you along

you still have time before your blood work
in the meantime let's see what you're doing in terms of your diet

monstro wants to see your training as well
the best thing you can do is post that up

if you dont want to do stupid 'shit' as you say
then a log is crucial so we can track you

a doctor isn't going to be able to kick you out of his office
it's best just to be honest

Looks like Steve has this handled. I haven’t ever used the gel before. Hopefully you get it all taken care of
