Good to see you are back sister.Hey guys
So sorry I’ve been Mia.
I’ve been really struggling mentally and emotionally and physically.
I was Just in a real slump.
So I had a bit going on in life and was fairly stressed, and busy etc.. I think I got a bit run down.. anyways my throat started to go funny… and sort of husky, I couldn’t tell if I was getting sick or not, hubby mentioned my voice sounded strange so then I started to panic that I was having sides from the Test Cyp. So I backed off taking it… and I think that made everything even worse!
I totally crashed! I still went to gym, but all I could do was some treadmill and some mobility work, I was just soooooo fatigued.
I was also feeling extremely flat and down emotionally.
I ended up getting a period which probably explains alot of the emotional side of it too.
I know this is maybe to much info but hey… it’s all part of a women’s journey isn’t it, with hormones etc and I do want to keep this log real, as maybe some other females will read it, and it might help them?
I know we all have our up and downs.
So anyways, i have gone back to taking my test Cyp 5mg every 4 days now, and today I am feeling great!
Energy is returning, I went to gym and did a great session, I made sure to pace myself tho, and not overdo it.
Emotionally I feel more positive.
Also my throat is fine, my voice is fine and normal so obviously I was just fighting off a bug… (there is alot of illness around at the moment)
So to me I have found this really interesting, because as soon as I went back on my Test Cyp I’m noticing all the positive effects again.
I am also going to go on some Estrogen as I found an old blood test which shows low & below range Estrogen levels, and I was never prescribed anything for it.
Anyways guys thanks for all being here and supporting me, sorry I’ve not been on to reply to you all, I just wasn’t in a good head space.
I have been making some yummy meals tho, I will post pics as I know you all like to see meal pics so much haha
Thanks for following along with me on this interesting journey lol
Happy lifting everyone
It’s pretty bad isn’t it? I looked back at this test from 2018 and everything was at low levels or below range, yet I wasn’t given anything to help me. Like you say, you have to become your own physician and figure it out for yourself. Very sad indeed. I’m glad you worked out what you needed to do bro, that’s why I will try to keep going with my log, and mention the good and the bad, because we are not alone hey and our experience might help others. Stay strong broGood to see you are back sister.
Look forward to seeing the food photos as well.
Mental health is very important it's good to see you are taking it seriously.
The healthcare is Australia when it comes to hormones is insane.
I've been low test my whole life and was never even mentioned to me I had to figure it out at 25 while I had a friend that had gyno from puberty and went to the doctors because they didn't know anything about hormones he been stuck with gyno since 16 or so.
Totally understandable... good to see you back!Hey guys

I know that for health purposes because I still have my uterus my OBGYN she said very important to have progesterone with the estrogen replacement. Not certain on the dosage or how you’re taking. Hey there, yes, I think we have all been scared off of estrogen as it’s the ‘breast cancer causing hormone’ but I’ve been doing so much research, and there are a few different types of estrogen, so we can get replacement with the Estriol which is actually good for us! It’s a protective estrogen! Man it’s a rabbit hole to go down that’s for sure! Yes, I’m being super careful with the Test, staying at the 5mg weekly as I’ve been feeling good on that, and no sides. Thanks for your feedback hey, I appreciate to greatlyI know that for health purposes because I still have my uterus my OBGYN she said very important to have progesterone with the estrogen replacement. Estra 1mg/Noreth0.5mg tabs. Replacement dose. I’m glad you’re feeling better. Yes it’s a bit scary wondering about sides then u think do pros out weigh the cons.I’m a Libra so that’s me. I started taking smaller dose. Was at 15mg weekly then went to 10mg once week. Body can reacts very sensitively to hormones. If anything just do the 5mg weekly versus every 5 days msybe. Sounds like sorted it out for now. But def need estrogen replace!

@Smiley G welcome back we missed youI love Poke Bowls so I made my own, with chicken breast, brown rice, avocado and pickled ginger. Been having it on repeat for lunch everyday! So yum
Hey bro, good question! I’m thinking hormonal, as it’s always coinciding with my cycle etc… but that in turn affects me mentally, I’ve also spoken with so many other women who feel the same ‘doom & gloom’ feeling either when they ovulate or before their period, it’s a strange thing, you get this doom and gloom feeling like something bad is looming over you, and no matter what you do, or try, or say to yourself to get out of it, you just can’t…this is also when the fatigue is at its worst, amd I just can’t get myself out of the ‘flat’ feeling.@Smiley G welcome back we missed youthanks for sharing your journey again
do you feel that your down times are hormonal or just mental? just curious how the E2 situation plays out

. Then literally the day of my period I can feel my normal self again! Sorry bro I hope this isn’t tmi but it’s a crazy roller coaster of a ride at times
I’m learning to enjoy the up’s while they last, and ride out the lows…..will see how some Estrogen goes I guess. I hope I answered your question after my ramble? Lol
