Thanks sis, I’m trying to go up each week, and most weeks I have been, just not the weeks I felt crappy obviously. But the app I am using to track my workouts is great and it tells me what increments to go up in weights, so that’s been coolDo small increases each week on your diff body parts. If your getting 10-15 reps go up a kilo or 2 depending on the exercise.

So I thought I would try something new yesterday to keep things interesting, and I tried Sumo Deadlifts.
Due to my lower back issues (ankylosing spondylitis and disk buldge L4/L5) I’ve been doing trap bar dead’s, because it takes the pressure off my lower back.
Someone at gym suggested Sumo Dead’s so I got one of the PT’s to show me how to do them correctly and I loved it! Wow my legs and my butt are really feeling it today tho haha. (But I also did 200kg paused leg press’s ouch)
I’m excited to see how strong I can get with them now.
I only did 40kg for 10 reps 4 sets, just to get the feeling for the new movements and I get low blood pressure so I was getting a little dizzy, but yeah, was cool to learn a new movement and I’m keen to set new PB on it![]()
Id love to hear any of your favourite excerises you’ve tried, for any areas?
