I am on testosterone, and I am hungry!

Guys, this is the deal. I am injecting myself some testosterone (cypionate 500 mgs per week), and now on week 5 I get really hungry, really fast. I mean, like every 2-3 hours I really feel the need to eat. I am not like - it would be cool to have a snack, but rather - I am fkn starving! Is this normal with testosterone solo cycles? Should I eat as I feel, or I should rather control myself?

Testosterone increases metabolism so an increase in appetite is normal. If you are trying to gain weight (put on muscle) the increase in appetite is good and you should eat when you are hungry! If you are trying to loose body fat and diet, obviously the increase in hunger is not good because it can lead to over eating.

Here are some tips to naturally decrease hunger:
1. Hot drinks help immensely with hunger. Especially green tea.

2. Carbonated drinks add volume to your stomach and make you feel full. I drink perrier constantly when pre-contest dieting.

3. Stay busy. If you are constantly occupied you won't noticed how hungry you are.

4. Mindfully eat. Don't eat while on the computer or infront of the television.

5. Caffeine greatly cuts appetite -> be careful with this one. Too much caffeine will burn out your adrenal glands and raise cortisol levels

6. Supplement with 10g psyllium husk before bed. Psyllium husk is a soluble fibre and gels up in your stomach, leading to an increased feeling of satiety.

This is something completely normal, and most people will feel like that on cycle, espcially with such compounds as testosterone and equipoise. In fact, I am on cycle right now, and I am feeling in the exact same way, so I usually eat whenever I need to, since the hunger can get really intense, and I make it through for those calories by working out a little bit more.

yes the whole point of male hormones are they help prevent muscle wasting and boost appetite.

this is why using steroids to 'lose weight or fat' with those who have trouble with appetite makes no sense.

some steroids do not increase appetite so much.. primo is one

You should be eating about every 3 hours anyhow....if your hungry that's good. It's not so much about how often you eat....it's more about what you eat. If your eating good foods....Your going to have excellent results from you cycle

Unless you are in the cutting phase - enjoy the hunger part, as its highly valuable when you try to gain mass
