no you don't do the dart method.. that is a great way of hitting the wrong spot

when you go to the dentist and he numbs your gum does he do it like a dart? no.. he pushes it in

You should try to be as relaxed and calm as possible when injecting.

Hold in on your skin and push it not slow not super fast. It usually goes in very easily and smooth. Just relax and go for it. Is easy
