Is It Safe to Take Pre-Workout While on a Cycle with Tren or Other Compounds Affecting Cardiovascular Health?

parazpro

V.I.P.
EVO Logger
I’m currently on a cycle that includes compounds known to impact cardiovascular health (e.g., increased blood pressure, elevated heart rate). I’m considering adding a pre-workout supplement, but I’m concerned about the potential risks, especially with the stimulants (like caffeine) in most pre-workouts. Currently, I am 24 and only take 1 cup of coffee every day.

For those with experience:

  • Have you taken pre-workouts while on a cycle that affects cardiovascular health?
  • Did it cause any issues like rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, or other heart-related problems?
  • Would the combination significantly increase the risk of cardiovascular issues?
Looking for advice and experiences from those who've managed similar situations. Thanks!

Great question

In many parts of the world coffee is something that people consume like crazy, so will be foolish for me to come in here and say to stop drinking coffee

I personally learned a long time ago, growing up to avoid caffeine, are used to read a lot of nutritional stuff as a kid and at eight years old I made a decision to never drink caffeine. I have not drank coffee in probably 20 years.

What I would recommend for your long-term health if you must have coffee, drink, decaffeinated, and make sure it’s a quality brand. Many of these coffees are grown in pesticide fields and sprayed quite a bit and when they roast them, it creates a lot of cancer-causing chemicals. Plus many people drown their coffee in sugar and milk. Both are things to avoid. Even better is switch to Yerba mate which is far healthier

-Yes I have taken pre WO while using Tren
-No ill effects on the heart.
-It certainly could in some individuals

At 24yo you should not be using tren or any other hormones for that matter.

@parazpro welcome to the EVO family :)

its hard to say if you should use a preworkout or not, if you're 22 thats one game, if you 62 thats another.
If you have experience thats 1 thing, if you dont thats another.

Do you really want help from the EVO family? then you need to share with us otherwise we just guessing and giving generic advice as we dont know much about you. Fair right?

how can you share?
sharing is easy, you on a cycle seems, even if you not you can share training
how to share? start a NEw thread with your LOG journal, share diet training cardio sleep cycle and history and we can guide you with many questions and answers there

how-to LOG

To really guide you we need more info, we need you to share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
We have 100s of years of experience between us, you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Too many sub-25's on cycle when there's little to no need and ditto needing stims to workout. You're doubling down and know you are hence the question. How about not doing so

Running tren does put strain on the heart for so many different reasons - the actual demand on the heart whilst running the compound increases, BP increases are common on tren due to the demand of more oxygenated blood to the muscles which tren can inhibit through cholesterol, plaque and reactive oxygen species. Increased overall thermic effect on the body will induce water loss and removal of electrolytes of the heart which is importsnt for the heart, not to mention glucocorticoid inhibition which reduces mineral balance, sapping magnesium and potassium which is extremely important for the heart.

All of the above puts strain on it and will increase LVH due to adaption of stimulus provided by the drug and its secondary effects.

Enter caffeine in the mix - this will elevate heart rate of course and increase overall adrenaline and norepinephrine levels, which increases the intensity of work on the heart, again we have adaptions that the body can induce to improve its total aerobic capacity. Once you start getting into the higher ranges though, the concern is more so overall adrenal fatigue and kidney function. Which tren can notoriously impact. I think a balance is caffeine is key, more and more isn’t better and causes more cortisol and stress in the body. Which creates a stressful environment, so the best way to approach this is mitochondria efficiency, improve VO2 max and use caffeine sparingly and no more then 150-200mg at a time max twice a day. After this you will create a vasoconstriction effect, which will increase total work load on the heart and kidneys to start producing angiotensin 2 to retain water and increase blood volume to create more vasodilation..

Hope this makes sense and explains some context in where concerns come about from caffeine use and overall PED use

Caffeine is gonna further stress, your adrenal glands and also boost your blood pressure and heart rate.
So if you can avoid caffeine, that would be beautiful.

Hopefully, you get a lot going and you can track all this.

Being 24 would be Advantage because your heart is still young.

Lots of people engage in Risky Behavior.

Drug use, Caffeine, And steroid use are mixed quite a bit in the community. Unfortunately,

You'll be fine with a little bit of caffeine.

But I would switch the decaf if you can.

Make sure you log this experience, it would be a good little experiment to try.
You'll see for yourself, what happens in your own body.

Cardiovascular health is really bad across the world.

It's, especially bad in America, where a large percentage of men Have poor heart health.

Cardiovascular disease is the #1 killer in America today.
So you are absolutely right being concerned about it.

That's good at your age that you're taking care of your heart.

I agree with the above, startup Your own log and you can track things that way

A cup of coffee in the morning isn't going to be an issue for me. I wouldn't be slamming a pre workout though. It will definitely increase blood pressure, which is likely already elevated from the cycle.
