Lagging body parts

Would slin run just on days of you work lagging body parts help bring them up quite a bit, or not enough to mess with?

personally i have the same problem with lagging body parts that arnold did...calves. my upper body is proportionately larger and more toned than my calves. i have implemented arnolds approach to bringing them up by focusing some sets on them everyday i train. im two weeks in so well see how it goes...

They have always been my weakness too.

the key is variety... constantly shocking your body allows it to reach its highest growth potential...

Trying right now to really add some shape to my chest, it's definitely frustrating hey....

Set aside at least one day a week where you train the lagging body part only. That way you can do extra sets / reps/ weight. If you think you need 2 days do it that way. Mix up the workouts, don't do the same exercises every time.

Would it be useless to train calves after ur msin workout?
After my main workout I always do alot of ab work and leg lifts etc.
Can it be useful to do calves w that? Not alot but everyday I workout?

Well there's the training way to help em grow a little or there's the medical way to help em grow quickly...gotta pick which route to go

Well honest fact is your body will hit a generic peak to where your muscles won't grow any larger. Only way that worked for me was to pump as much blood in the muscle as possible. I would try to get a pump in my arms so strong it hurt every time. And while doing so I would be taking in bcaas and carbs to shuttle to the trained area (along with pre workout slin)

For example, I work arms once a week the same as the rest of my body but I still have minimally closed the gap

Boom! Second post in the thread, and the problem is found. YOU'RE NOT TRAINING FREQUENTLY ENOUGH. Once a week is NOT enough. Some will argue with me, but they won't be my size, and won't have trophies laying everywhere in the house... Check out DC training bro. Don't just read some threads on it. LEARN it, and go do it.

I always do a little calves with my leg workout. But my calves are big I really don't have to work them

You suck bro! LOL! I know a few like you, and they look like they're walking around with 1/2 gallon milk jugs under their skin, at the calves. That's PURE genetics on your part. If I were you, I'd exploit your calves, and freak them out.

I hit lagging parts 2 times a week while on a cycle and once a week when cruising.......I wish people calves were the same size as there arms.....

You're doing better than most. The "key" IMO is adding small amounts of weight each session, plus eating and sleeping well. I'll use magnets: http://www.amazon.com/Platemates-Pair-1-25-Lbs-each/dp/B000VZWU6G and train in the same rep range intensely. The difference is adding small amounts of weight while staying in the rep range each session while gaining. Not the easiest thing to do, but when done correctly, food and sleep is clean, freakish growth occurs.
