This log will detail my new cycle and duet from December 2024 to Mid 2025

Goal is to fill out my frame while staying lean. Focus is on size, not strength as the more I've focused on strength the more I've injured myself and as a result I have spinal issues.

I plan to run 4 week blocks with semi-deload at week 5.

Using Jeff Nippard's pure bodybuilding program, full body version. Shooting for 5 days a week but may end up at 4.

Cycle will be as follows.
12 week cycle
Test C 600mg/wk
Var 50mg daily @ week 6


Supps/Meds
2g fish oil daily
15g fiber daily on top of food fiber
5mg Cialis daily
Lisinopril
Crestor
5g creatine dail
Ozempic 50% my normal dose
Milk Thistle? TUDCA?

Starting weight 199
Starting bodyfat 11.9%
Starting Macros- not even worth noting, until January I am staying on current Ozempic dose so calories will be <1400 but I will prioritize protein to try to get 96gm minimum right now.

Your body
First congratulations, you've done an AMAZING job dropping from 250lbs. That's something very few can do and you did it. No matter how, you pushed hard and achieved and amazing goal like this. You're a true champion at heart. It's difficult to do what you did and the EVO family is very proud of you. Also you look great and I do think you're around 11-12% bodyfat as well.

Background: Was 300+ pounds for several years, became type 2 diabetic. Diet and exercise got me down to 250s, low T treated by TRT.

I've run a couple cycles, but being on Ozempic they have been predominantly recomps.

My latest DEXA has me at 11.9% BF, compared to my pre-cycle DEXA I've gained 16 pounds of lean mass and lost 30 pounds of fat.

My biggest issue is I don't look 12% bf, the extra skin, skin thickness, and subq fat gives me a slightly puffier look.

For my next cycle I'm planning on running Test @ 600mg weekly (MWF injections) and Var @ 50mg daily for last 4-6 weeks of cycle.

What's my key to get more definition and, hopefully, fix my body image? (No picture posted because every time I do it turns into a debate about how my bodyfat is not accurate and I "look more like X%")

In terms of my life

Diet
Half a bagel with butter and jam (need the fat for Accutane and I didn't want to eat any peanuts) for breakfast, no lunch, single serving of spaghetti with Bolognese and a slice of Texas toast for dinner plus 48gm of protein shake.
Today is a typical Thursday for me, I inject Ozempic Sunday and Wednesday so Monday and Thursdays tend to be the days where I have to force myself to eat anything.

Currently on my normal TRT, 40mg MWF

Training
Will post up tomorrow, I'm on a PPL split MWF

Non-existent

Supplement
Creatine 5gm
Metamucil gummies 5gm (normally 10-15)

Keep in mind I am off cycle right now, just my normal TRT, started Accutane recently, waiting for my first liver and lipids before I start back up.

Diet:
I am t2 diabetic, so I do need the medication to keep my A1C down. I'm at 1mg twice a week because the effect on appetite wore off too fast. When I go back on cycle I will drop my injection to once a week (which would be half my weekly dose)

TRT:
Pharmacy generic (Hikma)

Supplements:
I started the gummies because of some reddit posts on Ozempic induced constipation. If I used psyllium husk I would be full for hours if not half the day. I think switching when I go on cycle would make sense.
Good call out, I am taking Vitamin D and Iron (lowish iron on my last blood test) I forget about those 2.
Additionally 5.6gm of fish oil

On cycle, I was planning of adding TUDCA and potentially NAC but I'd love the advice

you're in the USA right? you dont need a doctor to do TRT, you can do self-TRT easily and lipids aren't a factor in TRT for guys who are active and strong like yourself. You can get 1 x 10ml bottle of testosterone and it will last you a long time.
and your TRT dose is how much? just to get clarity again

Diet
If you're type 2 diabetic, that's usually an insulin release issue, you've dropped a lot of bodyfat and seems like you trying to stay healthy, whats your daily blood sugar for the last 2 weeks?

We need to modify your diet a lot to get it to work during a cycle.

The ALT/AST and lipids aren't for TRT it's for the Accutane, before I start back on a cycle and add Var in that cycle I want to make sure nothing was thrown off by the Accutane. No doubt I can get test c easily, my insurance covers it and covers enough that I end up having enough to run an entire cycle all without paying anything.

I don't check my sugars anymore because my A1C has been in a really good spot since I started Ozempic, on Ozempic my average sugar is 94. If I drop my dose in half I'll be able to hit more closer to my macros, especially if I do a maingain rather than a bulk, but maybe I should truly bulk, I've had a long relationship with food and frankly I'm hyper aware of what might happen if I stop altogether.

Fiber, the gummies are inulin based but the fiber amount is the same per serving, 5gm. The advantage to the gummies is that it doesn't fill me up as much as psyllium tends to so I can stay compliant.
 
a lot of people are using cialis everyday.
Curious. Is that something your doctor recommended or is that something you're just throwing in there?
 
Do you have a history of high blood pressure? Is that the reason you're using cholesterol and blood pressure medication.
 
Make sure that you update us on your nutrition as well.
How does the ozempic affect the way you eat? Does it really kill your appetite?
 
Honestly, there's definitely room to improve your diet.
Spaghetti in Texas toast. I don't really think that that's gonna work long term. You should definitely switch that.
 
If your type 2 diabetic, then you definitely should be improving your diet.
Food prep is going to be crucial. If you're going to have success, make sure you do it.
 
yeah n2guard is well worth it especialy since you are taking all those meds.
It will help all your organs. And boost your energy.
 
As others have said, definitely welcome to the Forum.
You look really lean and you will definitely get better results if you tighten up your diet and nutrition.
 
Make sure that you Get blood work posted as well, if you get a chance.
If that's you and your avatar, which I'm not sure, then you look really ripped.
