keep pushing and grinding hard

why did you add calves to your upper body day? just curious
I like to do calves 4x week, and they heal quickly enough that I can just put them on my push day and my leg day, and there isn’t any bad result. I could double the volume on leg day, but I don’t feel like it works as well for me.

Have your calves grown over the last few months?

I don’t know. I never measure them, but they are super vascular recently, so I would guess so.
Ok. I just dont think I would do them more than once per week. Don't want to risk the ankles. I already do walking on incline treadmill.

Carb up time!!!

Having bison for main course. A friend got one of the very few tags in the state, and gave us a nice chunk of the loin to use. Looking forward to sleeping well.
Never had it. I grew up on venison in Alaska. We ate Deer burger/roast 4-5 days per week and halibut or salmon the other 2-3 days.

It’s basically like a slightly leaner beef. It’s not game in the sense we think of it, just a big old ancient cow like thing. It’s good though. It doesn’t have the stronger flavor of venison or elk or moose.

I really wish we had better access to seafood here. Montana, obviously, doesn’t have salt water fishing, but also people don’t tend to be wealthy enough, as in WA or CA or NY, that the markets can afford to keep good king salmon without having to throw much of it out because nobody will buy it.
