Detoxs are a scam. Lemons and lemon juice are great for detoxifying the liver. I would regularly incorporate those into your diet.

I take Tudca & NAC.

I really doubt you can make your own liver cleansing compound at home, or at least one that will be effective. What you can do, is change some habbits that are bad for your liver, such as drinking alcohol and using harsh medicines. Good advice given already. Personally for me I take N2Guard year round to keep the liver healthy. You should add in the lemon water and stay away from anything that will affect the liver. That should clean it out.

N2Guard works wonders, but if we are talking home condition detoxifier, lemon juice and vast amounts of green tea might aid you
 
I drink lemon water every single morning and every night. I take n2guard year around.

My husband swears by green tea....also nettle tea and dandelion root tea are excellent liver detoxification teas
 
Choline and Inositol is a good liver support, and is supposed to help with fatty liver etc. It's just a B vitamin derivative and available cheaply at your local vitamin shop.
