Ive read a crap ton of oxandrolone studies, literally, and something most of the researchers seem to agree on is this: var is considered perfectly safe if run for less than 3 months. Now, keep in mind the context of this recommendation. First, it will be conservative if anything, as researchers will be reluctant to overreach any drug recommendations. Second, most of the research is being done on sick/ill people (burns victims, kids/older people, liver disease, AIDs sufferers, etc). Common theme here is people who are in some way compromised with health/immunity.
Another thing to emerge from the research is this: hepatotoxicity of var is grossly overexaggerated on the forums. Remember, this stuff is being investigated for use in unhealthy people. Ive seen doses all the way up to 200mg per day. Yes, 200fukn mg. And using it for as long as 12months.
Any liver or lipid measure changes whilst using it are transient, or temporary. Meaning, values will return to baseline when you stop using. Still a good idea to use on-cycle support though.
Im not necessarily advising anyone use it for 3mnths. Do your own research and assessment of the risks. But, again, if youre otherwise healthy, youll likely be fine.
