Looking for advice on motivation

Took a few cycles of test 15 years ago. Got in to bicycling. Won a couple state championships on mountain bikes. Then life happened. Ended up with a dad bod. 5’9 160. All my weight is from my neck to waist. I’ve been getting back into cardio and weights but have zero motivation or energy. I’ve been thinking test e. My main goal is to build back some muscles but also loose my belly and some what of man boobies that have developed. Not looking to get too deep into anything to the point I have to worry about internal organs or having a lot of estrogen and getting a fluffier chest when I cycle off. Really looking for advice on what the best route would be.
 
Start with why you think taking a steroid = motivation or energy. It MIGHT be an issue (baring in mind zero mention of your age) if you now have low natural test levels. Get them check and if so look at TRT first.

Actual motivation is 'I wanna look a lot better' and remind yourself every time it's a sluggish and low energy day

And it's not rocket science to point out that as we age (life happens) it gets harder. Me too. So are you up for this new challenge? Well are you?!!

Have you gotten any bloodwork done to see if you have an issue? If your not motivated now, taking some test will do nothing. If you are hypogonadal then maybe. What does your current diet and training look like? Start a diet/training log on here. It's helpful to feel accountable and also helpful to get feedback/comments from other members.
 
going to the beach with no shirt on and having people look at you and be like damn is my motivation with others
with myself which is most important its about looking and feeling good.
 
steroids should not be your motivation.. your motivation should be coming intrinsically.. if you need a steroid to get motivated then there are bigger issues going on...

have you had bloodwork done? if you are having issues as you say then you should be getting bloodwork done, which you would need to do anyway before using any PED whatsoever
 
What helped me find the motivation after a 3 years off was my family. What kind of dad/husband/brother/son did I want to be? A lazy pos or someone who leads by example and does the hard thing even when I don’t want to. I know for a fact I learn from people I respect and there’s no way I would respect someone who is a fat slob trying to give me life advice.

That's not really a fair statement to make. Just because someone is overweight does not discount them from having/giving valuable life advice.
Let's try to keep this a positive place to be.
 
my view is bodybuilding is an art

i learned that from Arnold.

some people make art into movies, or paintings, or writing. there are some really bad movies, bad books, and bad paintings. my body is my art, i want it to be great

@Trashman199 welcome to the evolutionary.org family! happy to have you and having a dad bod is nothing to be ashamed of, many guys have this issue and we can help you fix it. the issue here is we don't know anything about you except that you have a dad bod and like mountain bikes.

What we need before we tell you to use steroids or anything else is your LOG journal of your diet and training, this will help us set you up before you think about cycling, don't worry if the diet is bad we can adjust.

To really guide you we need more info, we need you to share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.

If you want us to really guide you, and we have 100s of years of experience between us, you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

Ypure putting the cart before the horse. You need the motivation first or steroids won't help you. They dont give you motivation and even if they did that means your motivation runs out with the steroids. A recipe for failure
 
the big motivation will be starting a log on evo so you start being accountable
