Lou Ferrigno or Arnold? Did Lou Ferrigno take steroids?

A lot of discussion about Lou Ferrigno centers around his potential steroid use when he competed against Arnold in the 70s, but what did he use in 1992 when he competed at almost 320lbs! Lou is a beast and deserves respect in the sport, but we can't forget the cycles guys like him use. Let's discuss it.

That was a great rivalry at the time, which fueled the very successful "pumping iron" movie. Ferrigno was a beast. He just couldn't compete with the genetics of Arnold.

personally I think both Arnold and Lou were only using dat der muscletech....

seriously though both these guys had awesome bodies...no homo...and personally I think it would be physically impossible to achieve their level of physiques without PED's...Lou was a giant in his own right but Arnold definitely had superior genetics...

I agree but within the next 5 years the physic guys will look like the golden age of bodybuilding.......They have already starting working with the top training gurus.....I like this dude ....He got one of the top trainer as well good genetics.....Reminds me of old time look.....

i agree with bulldog. I don't care how good someone's genetics are there is no way someone can get as big as these 2 guys and not be on juice.

according to the old school lifters, they say they would routinely take handfuls of dbol a day right there in the gym... many guys ended up with gyno because they had no AI's at that time. Arnold was very lucky he wasn't gyno prone

Lou chose to commit to the tv series ....THE INCREDIBLE HULK. I am sure he made money and was successfull in his own right. However, Aronold not only stuck to body building BUT DID ACTING TOO!!!! When he was filming the movie "CONAN" he came out of retirement to win his 7th MR. OLYMPIA TITAL. Arnold had many talents. One of them was AMBITION.

The best part was he showed up to be a Judge originally then seen who was competing and decided to compete. Lou was pissed so was his best friend Mr.Columbo. Serget Nebret was the only one smiling besides Arnold.

Absolutely in my opinion, they both did them. Arnold sculpted on steroids! Lou got the role of "The Incredible Hulk" on TV!

i agree... you simply don't get to that size without A LOT of help... YES, certain people are blessed with some extreme genetics, but anyone that has been around this long enough knows there is only so much and so far you can get without help... you can most definitely get a lot further than you would expect but then there is also that point you simply cannot get to without the help of our good friend, anabolics...

You guys always write about "genetics"! All of these fucks that you write about were "bean poles". Just like me! And most of you before using steroids!!! I've checked the pictures of all of them and no bigger than a nerd! Steroids made these guys not genetics. Remember, steroids were invented to "enhance and improve" genetics. Germany and Russia! Supreme Race! HUH?
