Today is the 1 year anniversary of Dallas Mcarver passing. Matt Jansen was his coach.

Post your questions for Matt in this thread or DM me them on Instagram - Instagram.com/TrevorKouritzin

oh boy.. this one could get interesting

I’d like to know what he thinks a realistic placing for Iain Valliere would be? Top 10, Top 5?

I wouldn't have time for a guy like this if he is responsible for putting together the drug plan for MacCarver. Dude had cancer and other issues all through his body. I know Dallas ultimately had to make the choice on his own but the coach is part of it too.

U hit the nail on the head Made! That is exactly what I was thinking!

But I am sure he didn't hold a gun to Dallas's head either, but athletes put Major Trust in there coaches!

I just got around to watching this episode. And I have to say kudos for getting him on the show on the 1 year anniversary of Dallas' death.
For someone like me who follows a lot of bodybuilders on social media, this was really cool to be able to watch. I follow several campjansen athletes including Iain Vallierre and although Matt did speak alot about Nathan and Charles, I was surprised that he didn't mention Iain and Shaun Clarida. Both of whom are going to the Olympia this year.
One of the things that really caught my attention was the fact that he mentioned "picking" athletes (Charles). He seemed to want to clear the air specifically about Charles reaching out to him and that he did not head hunt Charles. Very interesting to watch, when I started watching I was thinking 52 minutes would be to long to watch however I watched it straight through. Great Job fellas.

I have Iain booked Thursday

I'd like to know if its easier is it to stay focused and on track at the highest level of Bodybuilding when you have a wife and a Brother in law who both compete at the highest level also.

And who does he prefer to train with? Alone, with Chris or with Melissa?

Also does he think its a disadvantage or advantage that he's been on prep for so long, I believe he competed in 4 shows this year?

Got it. I'll ask him tomorrow

I enjoyed this one. Listened to it this morn. Can’t believe for a prep coach at his level, how young he is.
