I saw these bars discounted and wanted to buy a few boxes, are they good and worth buy? metrx seems like a good brand not sure taste.

Thoes bars have way too much sugar.... I only cop quest bars, muscle tech- clean mission bars and MP Combat bars.... they have good amount of fiber!

With little to no sugar

Personally I don't use any bars. There are too many fillers, fat, carbs, and sugar alcohols for my liking. If I need more protein I just add a shake of isolation from ntbm. It is a pure whey isolate without all the garbage in it.

I regard protein bars as healthier dessert choice on the go, nothing more or less. If u want protein - get a shake. If you want a snack, protein bar might fit. But keep in mind most of them taste like sand.

Protein bars should be considered a 'cheat food'. They have as much sugar and fat as a regular chocolate bar. They are the equivalent of eating a chocolate bar and drinking a protein shake.

If you are trying to put on weight, they aren't terrible and some are really nice tasting. Just limit them to 1-2 times a week as a treat.

I like this vision of the protein bars. They should indeed be considered as a cheat meal, but in no way as a good source of protein. If you want protein, then you should rather get a shake made with isolate whey protein.
