I am a huge Tyson fan. Read every book and researched everything I could ever find on him. He has no problem admitting to narcotics, other drugs. He has never admitted to steroids. Evander has a legit reason to accuse Tyson of doing so, I mean he bit is ear, LOL. I say this cause if Tyson did or didn’t use them, I wonder why he never said he did. I think he was naturally gifted and if he was using steroid use, his cardio would have suffered. Granted, he rarely went the distance when he was coming up.

I am not saying he did or didn’t and either way it doesn’t change my opinion on him or his talent. Back then they were “legal” in boxing so it makes sense but being accepted why wouldn’t he admit it? Why would he admit illegal drugs but not steroids?

I would love the opportunity to ask Tyson that question. Maybe one day I will. He will go down as the best boxer in history, me thinks.

I will give you that, if he is guilty if anything it is certainly cursing on TV. Saying crazy shit like I will eat your kids.

Look at his life now though. He has done a total 180. He is an example of hitting rock bottom, coming back, hitting i again, coming back. He is relatively stable now. And actually quite intelligent. Listen to the Bite the mic podcast. If you don’t believe me, you will see for yourself in that podcast. Need to listen to a few.

his childhood would have made any one of us on here make a lot of mistakes. he never had a dad, and what sucks is the one dad he did have passed away when he was still a very young man. he also lost his mom as a teenager.. grew up in one of the most crime ridden places and was bullied frequently .. people in that situation either end up in prison or dead, so he made it this far

That's was kinda my point. He has admitted to everything, including meth. He has no shame. He knows he was a fuck up. But he has done a complete 180 and he has got his life together again. I wouldn't put it past him today to use them, but I just don't believe back in the day during his prime he was using steroids. I think he was snorting a big freaking gator line, smoking a joint, and then going out and kicking the shit out of people. He admits to being high during most of his fights after Cus died.
